Whoopers Party Hostel Palolem

Loved my stay here! The vibe was amazing — so chill and welcoming. The staff were super sweet, the manager was extremely helpful, and the in-house café had such good food. And this property is really close to Palolem and Patnem beaches. Can't wait to come back!!

The stay was quite good, food is also good and environment is good with greenery. Only thing is the hostel is little outside Palolem beach. Like 2 km away. But the location is good for visiting agoda beach and Palolem beach equally. Bar is little bit expensive.

Title: Highly unprofessional experience — ruined our South Goa stay Review: We reached Whoopers Party Hostel at 11:30 AM, fully aware that the key is given only at 1:00 PM as per their policy. But instead of even offering basic courtesy or shelter, we were made to wait in the reception area with all our bags — in heavy rain. I tried arranging a scooty for lunch, but the rental person couldn’t reach due to the rain. We were forced to book a car for ₹400 just to get some food, and later another scooty for ₹500 which we used only for a few hours — all unnecessary expenses caused purely because the hostel staff didn’t bother to help or guide us in any way. To make it worse, I had already booked this hostel twice, because the first time MakeMyTrip showed the wrong booking date due to a system error and the hostel refused to adjust it, even though it was clearly not my fault. North Goa was one of the best travel experiences of my life — but South Goa became horrible because of this hostel’s attitude. No empathy, no basic hospitality, zero effort to assist guests — just arrogance. Would absolutely not recommend this property to anyone looking for even minimum decent treatment. Considering I had to pay twice due to a system error and still faced unnecessary expenses and inconvenience, I request a compensation or partial refund for the duplicate booking - only then I will feel that at least my loss was acknowledged.

I had booked Whoopers Party Hostel for 24th-25th Oct, but even after carefully selecting the dates, the booking got confirmed for 23rd Oct - clearly a technical fault from MakeMyTrip. I verified this before payment, and after noticing the mistake I immediately contacted customer care, but was told no correction or reschedule was possible, which is highly unfair as the error was not from my side. I was forced to book again and pay twice for the same stay. Upon reaching the hostel, there were plenty of rooms available, but the staff still made us wait outside for over 1.5 hours in heavy rain, with zero basic courtesy or support. The behavior was rude, arrogant and completely insensitive to the situation. This entire incident caused double payment, extreme inconvenience and mental stress, purely due to MMT's system fault + the hostel's unacceptable attitude. I expect immediate action, refund / compensation, and assurance this won't hopen to anyone else. This experience made our couple's trip very bad. I use MMT very often for all my needs from Different accounts. If no action is taken, I will have to think about other apps as well.

The Best Hostel in Palolem, Pefect location

I had a great time at the Whoopers Party Hostel in Palolem. Full party vibe and great atmosphere. Rooms are on different Alcohol themes, which was something unique.

Location was pretty fine. The property is approx a kilometre away from Palolem beach. It has cozy rooms, cute bunkers. We booked premium suite and our experience was amazing. Shoutout to the guy who handles the property, he gives the room and property tour with full of enthu and ready to help 24*7

Stayed at Whoopers Hostel in South Goa — great dorms, super clean, and budget-friendly! If you're planning a trip down south, definitely check it out. The food is tasty too, though the service could be a bit quicker. Overall, solid value for money and a chill vibe 🌴✨"*

I had booked a premium private room. It was well maintained and very spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Room were good. Washroom was also clean. Proper cafe to eat. Swimming pool is not available. Also there is a rule for AC. For certain hours in day and evening AC will be turned off by stay. 1. Room were spacious and clean. 2. Locker available but you need to carry small lock. 3. Washroom were clean with hot water available. 4. Have there own cafe with lot’s of food options 5. Guy at the reception was very helpful and friendly. 6. Have wifi 7. Beaches are nearby. Good location. Only one issue there they have AC timings for few hours in day and evening the AC will be turned off by staff.

We had planned to stay 2 nights in South Goa, but this place was such a disaster that we ran back to North Goa the very next day. Honestly, this was one of the worst and most miserable stays I’ve ever had: 1. 2. Absurd fines – fine for bringing your own food or drinks. They’re just looking for ways to squeeze money out of guests. 3. Dead atmosphere – No party, no vibe, no fun. Absolutely lifeless. 4. Uninterested, rule-obsessed host – Instead of hospitality, you get treated like a nuisance. He only has a long list of rules and fines to throw at you. 5. Broken facilities – Pool table in terrible condition. And while we were still playing, the host had the audacity to ask us to quit at 11:30 PM because he had to leave. 6. No freedom even for simple things – We asked for a deck of cards to play inside our room, but the host flat-out refused and forced us to play outside, despite all of our dorm members agreeing to play together. 7. Filthy rooms – Dirty, smelly, and clearly never maintained. And the cherry on top. The host literally goes around begging and pushing every guest to leave a positive review before they check out. That’s the only reason this place has any decent rating at all. Overpriced, unhygienic, joyless, and run by someone who doesn’t care about hospitality. Avoid this nightmare at all costs.
