Terrible Stay

Received booking confirmation from make my trip on 21/3/2025.Regreat booking by owner on 22/3/2025 when I already reached to Haridwar with my family. I didn't get refund also.Kindly arrange as earliest possible to get my full amount(Rs.16613)

The staff was wonderful. The place is very nice and comfortable. It gets cold so you should be reasonably prepared for that. The ideal holiday would be to just stay put and enjoy local flora and fauna. If your objective is to experience safaris of rajai national park then the location has several challenges and th4 costs can quickly add up for mobility.

Thank you so much Mr. Fotedar for writing a review. I had no access to Gomm site for some time because of some policy by Gommt. Now we have clubbed it with our other property , a Home stay Sneh Deep in Jaipur so now using the same number I can register two properties together. In fact Wild Brook is remotely located property in Rajaji National Park to reach it , you need a high ground clearance vehicle. People sometimes expect urban luxuries here which is not possible because our window to operate is very small. The park remains open for only 7 months in a year ( November 15th to June 15th every year . Our way is through river bed so in rainy season there is no access to it. The entry and exit is in between sunrise to sunset and there is limited electricity supply in this area so we operate on solar power. All wet ration is procured from Rishikesh or Haridwar by sending a jeep after we get a confirmed booking. Sometimes guests wish to book it after it is evening so that booking can not be confirmed because the forest barrier does not allow any vehicle through forest in any National park after it is dark because of wild animals & to follow rules of Wild Life Protection Act.

coupleThis resort is located right inside the jungle. A small river flows in front of the resort. Even though the description said river view, the river wasn't visible because the river was too small, and trees blocked the view. Overall, the property is not well maintained. While the rooms are fine from inside, there is no greenery, or maintenance from outside. Definitely over priced. The food was good. There is no heater in the rooms, so ask for the fireplace to be lit. There was no hot water, so the housekeeper was bringing a bucket of water after heating it with an emulsion rod. It was quite a hassle to manage, given it was deep winters.

Dear Garima, Thanks for taking out time to review Wild Brook.We are inside the park where electricity supply is limited so we have not placed geysers .We give water by heating by immersion rod if electricity is there or we supply it after heating on gas stove. We give "sigdi" in fire place or give you a hot gel bag if electricity supply is there while we also give very warm quilts to staying guests. We have 5 KW solar power system which is used for electricity,and for pumping water.When you take a holiday in remote locations there are challenges of many kinds.Park remains open only for 7 months in a year,access and exit is only possible from sunrise to sunset,We have only five cottages lastly if we bring all modern gadgets and urban environment here all birds and animals which visit over our land will disappear like cities. People come her to enjoy nature in its purest form.High level of oxygen,clear star studded sky,babbling of streams,chirping of birds stay in wilderness is our USP here . We are there because we made these cottages before park was formed. Now we can not add any structure ,alter anything so having these cottages here is a boon for wild lifers and bird watchers.

Had a nice and peaceful stay. My kids enjoyed the places, except a few things could be improved. But overall a nice time.

We understand who will value clean spring water to drink,fresh air which city dwellers know what they are inhaling, the therapy you get from forest after disconnecting from day today hassel. Money cant bring forest or mountain in front of your home in cities so those who value these elements they appreciate it. You are one of them. Appreciation of nature and wild life also is a parameter of quality life.If someone can not percieve it then it is our systems fault.

Cozy cottage nice caretaker. Amazing view we got to take beautiful photos and beautiful view. There was a a stream near by. U could also go exploring. Absolutely loved it will visit again.
