Wild Flower Retreat

The Retreat is located on a hillside in Borong, Sikkim with some awesome views. The rooms are well furnished, comfortable and well maintained with prompt and responsive staff constantly on their toes and delivering service with a smile. The food was good too and the kitchen and dining facility is amazing. Each table is decorated with a vase having locally grown wild flowers which won our hearts. The only issue we faced is that it was peak season and there were large groups of people visiting and they were quite noisy, played loud Bengali music and had total disregard for others peace and privacy. The surrounding area though is very scenic and lots of places to explore. When it rains small waterfalls come up everywhere which is highly exciting. For transportation to and from the Retreat its advisable to book in advance at Ravangla which is the main township 20 km's away. Hotel staff can help you get in touch with local cabs too.

Amazing stay on the lap of nature! Location was remote and peaceful, hamlet an hour drive from Ravangla. Reaching there apart from reserved cabs, economic travelers can opt for shared rides that takes you right by the doorstop of the Retreat. The shared cabs ply from Ravangla till the resort and Ravangla is connected with major locations in Sikkim through shared jeeps. With a bit of research you can bring down your transportation cost significantly, rooms are decent and clean with all relevant amenities. View is great from the rooms. With luck on your side you might be able to spot Makalu peak, food was Tibetan. foods are amazing with prices a bit on steeper side, which is acceptable considering the remoteness of the location. Ambiance perfect for solo or group travelers looking for a peaceful time out.

The location of this Wild Flower Retreat actually appropriate for those who like nature. The distance between Ravangla main market to this Wild Flower Retreat is around 15 km. Road is need to maintain. Food is very good, very homely. They arranged the buffet at dinner or you can order separately. Special thanks to the all staffs, they are very professional and hard worker, they look after every guest with great positive attitude. The property is big and just awesome. You can see mountains, garden, Valley. Over all a great experience we get at Wild Flower. A must visit destination.

Borong, Polok is 1 hour drive from Ravangla, Sikkim. The wold flower is located in a little isolated village with a wonderful mountain view. Stay is very comfortable and all the people are very nice, friendly and helpful. One can roam around the garden or take a walk to the small 'Gumpha' situated 15 minutes walking distance from it or towards the hot spring. One can visit a silver falls (5-6 km) and the titanic viewpoint too. This is a beautiful place for bird watching and early spring is the best time for that.

We stayed a night at the deluxe room and then moved for the 2nd night to the cottage since it was available. The deluxe room is smaller and a bit basic. The cottage is really nice and spacious. Getting to the place can be a bit tedious and is quite a distance from Ravangala. But once you get there it is beautiful. The staff too are helpful and courteous. We had a lovely stay and would stay here if we come to Sikkim. Must mention we found that Sikkimese people of the whole are very helpful and simple and honest.

We booked two cottages for a family of four. Location is remote and 45 mins away from Ravangla main city. Excellent for bird watchers. Good food. Very good staff. Nice place to go on long stroll amidst nature. Don't book cottages if you are scared of insects, centipedes, etc. Honestly the cottages are amidst the forest and it's really not in control of anybody to eliminate those little buddies. If you are an ardent nature lover this place will be a paradise for you.

It was so pleasing here with a view of Mount na shim. And good food.

The resort is nice, but lacking in some basic amenities like intercom. You have to climb up and down many stairs, several times for your requirements.

We enjoyed our stay, food and the hospitality.

Good amazing, lot of new places to explore

This place is beautiful. Around 16 kms away from Ravangla its located in boring what is known as silent valley. The place is amidst nature with variety of flowers and birds. Its a little rustic but an amazing find located in lap of nature. Will surely visit again with more time in hand.

Located at remote but beautiful location. Rooms are decorated nicely. The behavior of stuffs are very helpful.

Silent prelude to the motherhood sheltering souls in all forms. Birds guiding dawn to dusk. Mountains embracing a carefree solitude. Mother tongue of this Retreat is love.

The place is very far from the main market area. Its almost 25 kms from Ravangla but when you reach this place its an awesome property. In the morning this place has an amazing view. All you can hear is the sound of birds and rain. The premium cottages are very spacious and clean. Overall a great experience.

Very quiet place. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was not tasty.
