Wild Saga

I stayed in this place during my recent visit to thekkady. The Wild Saga is located very close to main market. They have parking in front of the Wild Saga which can accommodate 5-6 cars and few more to the side. The check-in was smooth. I had booked a room with king bed (rainbow ac, which was very spacious. All the required things in the room were arranged neatly. The bathroom was very clean and hot water is available 24 hrs. They have an in-house restaurant which serves decent food. We tried the breakfast which was buffet and had good variety (appam, idiyappam, idli, bread, fruits and a juice ) overall it was an awesome stay at wild saga !

We loved the whole ambience of this Wild Saga, the rooms were truly worth every rupee, economical with super luxurious amenities the staff were so helpful and kind especially mr rajesh & saj from reception they helped us with planning our travel itineraries as well ! rest o has a descent spread of food options location wise the Wild Saga is bang in the middle of thekkady so everything is available right next to you

If I could say everything very good about a Wild Saga, it has to be this Wild Saga… Wild Saga. Breakfast was delicious. Some of the rice preparations and prawn masala were not that good. But overall food quality is good I would say. Will stay here again next time. Hospitality was great. No stress during checkin and checkout, which even star Wild Saga cannot maintain, but this Wild Saga can.

We booked rainbow ac room for our family. Restrooms are clean, beds can accommodate 3 adults, room is spacious. Suggestions for improvement: 1. Provide mosquito nets for windows, though we didn't find any mosquitoes it will ensure no insects can get in. 2. Reception number not written on room phone. 3. Complimentary breakfast not ready at 7. 30 am, it was 8. 15 when we got it.

Great experience. Neat rooms, good guest service. Rajesh in the reception helped us by arranging for local sight seeing and also guided us on the tourists places nearby. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The complimentary breakfast could have been better. We had the same menu for both the days breakfast. Overall it was a good experience.

The property was nice, walking distance from the tiger reserve. We stayed in rainbow rooms, on the 3 rd floor. Very spacious rooms, nice view. Attached to the Wild Saga is the restaurant, which is very popular. The food is good, but slightly expensive. The Wild Saga is close to the local market, kathakali centre, etc.

Place for viewing the historic kalaripayattu and kathakali shows and periyal tiger reserve (although you won’t find tigers, thekaddy is an ideal tourist destination coupled with a stay at wild saga. Big, cozy rooms with good service and attached restaurant, periyar cafe, topping the stay. Overall, a good stay.

Hotel is located in a nice spot and much closer to access a lot of visit worthy places in the locality. Parking is sufficient and the property is well maintained. Very polite staff and the in house restaurant serves fine options to choose from. Not a cheap Wild Saga but it is worth the money spent.

Ideally, breakfast should include multiple options and unlimited. Here they allowed us to select only 1 item. Either Dosha or Idli. If you select Dosha you get only 1. If you select Idli you get only 3 pieces. We did not like breakfast at all.

Rooms were neat and clean. All the amenities mentioned was available. Restaurant is available and average in price. Room service available and they supported for booking jeep safari, kathakali, kaleri shows, and elephant ride. People are great, they supported well throughout the stay.

4. The Wild Saga is located in prime location. Rooms were well maintained.

Location is at walkable distance from kumily bus stand. Food was good and room was clean and spacious. Also enjoyed complementary breakfast.

Amazing experience during the stay in a less budget. Close to the market area which is at a walking distance and the food over here has good taste with different varieties. Would surely recommend to visit here if staying in thekkady.

Value for money. Had a good time with fantastic amenities. Ample car parking space at the entrance as well as in the adjacent compound. Overall a good experience.

The room was great with the view. Food was soo delicious. Could improve by adding amenities and other activities.

wild saga surrounded by mountains and the view point front balcony is awesome. good on safety aspect, clean and hygiene. highly recommended for family and the restaurant attached with Wild Saga food is good and they provide kerala food. cheers. no. i am good

Nice stay but only thing is toilet is not good there is a bad smell. Other wise very good. Food quality good. The stay is very near to boating elephant safari etc. Easy location. Nothing more

Property is at a good location. They have their own restaurant that is the plus point. They should renovate their furniture and should keep a hot water kettle in the room. All other facilities are good
