Windyard Resort

This place is an experience that every traveller to Wayanad should have. 3 reasons , first is the Manager , Allwyn , he cares for his guests like his own family , he will ensure that everything is top notch experiance . He is just an amazing soul to be with . 2nd is the view , located on Bana sura dam, this place has the best visuals of the valley , it’s a live painting that keeps changing every few minutes ,I have never experienced anything like this before . 3rd is the staff including chef and other staff . Rooms are very clean , with big balconies Food is amazing and affordable to point where I got a shock when I was presented my food bill for 3 days stay . I had to ask the manager to recheck coz it was so much less than my expectation . I stayed from 20th may to 23rd may with my family and I am surely going back again and again . Don’t miss it , everything is picture perfect .

We had a nice stay at Windyard. Room, location, service and food were good. Specially the Manager - Alwin was really helpful and decent. He was very generous towards the guests and always was asking about any need. We really enjoyed the hospitality and service they provided. Whenever we visit again in Wayanad, Windyard will be our first place to stay. On other aspects, food was good, they have parking space. View from the room was awesome. The resort offers a pleasant stay with basic amenities like a swimming pool and a kids’ play area. The highlight is undoubtedly the scenic beauty—every room, including the common passageways, offers a stunning view. The staff is exceptionally courteous and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. However, the food was a major letdown. Despite taking orders, the quality and taste were disappointing. The complimentary breakfast, in particular, was poorly managed—with issues like cold food, inadequate serving bowls, spoons, and containers. Additionally, the property needs better maintenance, especially in the outdoor areas, which become quite slippery and pose a safety risk. If the resort can improve its food quality and address the maintenance concerns, it has great potential given its location and hospitality.

View from the lakeview rooms were amazing. Although it is named as resort, it is not as big but has amenities like pool, swing, fireplace, children playing area. Hotel staffs were really helpful. Worth the price.

It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The booking process was seamless, allowing me to easily find the perfect accommodation that suited my preferences and budget. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities i needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, i had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend booking through makemytrip for hassle-free travel planning and unforgettable experiences. Only issue we had, some strangers were knocking our door in night and those folks were already drunk, and there was no one t reception as well

The location was very beautiful, just near the dam’s reservoir area. The hospitality of the staff was amazing. Did very excellent work in cleaning the rooms and making dinner for us. Complimentary breakfast also very good. In total the stay was out of our imagination

The view as well as the services offered by the company was great. The view from the balcony was too good for the stay. We just booked it randomly on urgent basis and turned out to be amazing. You can have a look of mountians and lake both at the same place. The view during monsoon early morning was worth every penny. The service and food was also amazing. You can have a look of the beautiful lake which is one of the view points in wayanad

Based on booking i got 2am chek in and next day 12 pm chek out. But hotel manager was not ready to allot room for me. He told me that your chek in will be 2 pm. Then we made smaller arguent each other finally he allotted room for me around 10 am. I reach-er resort 9. 30 am. He told me that he wont give me 2 days complimentary breakfast. I told him that its ok i need one day complimentary food. Resort was good. Nice ambience.

The place was not at all good. The rooms were not clean not even washrooms. We couldnt get meals on proper time and no nearby option to order online food. The managememt was irresponsible

The stay was awesome. The view, the ambience, the cleanliness, the people, the food, everything was nice. We had a great experience at windyard. The photos doesn't do justice for the place

One of the beautiful resort in waynad, beautiful scenary of banasura dam thru balcony, nice staff. Food also good.

New property with nice views and near to the water front. Rooms are good with a nice balcony. Bit overpriced and cleaning staff needed to be trained as the room was dusty and to be redone. Overall a good place to stay with views. The breakfast was decent.

Wonderful host. Clean premises. Well cooked food. Best location with picturesque views of the lake. The host was helpful with a medical emergency even in the middle of the night. The staff and well trained and at your beck and call. I will definitely visit again and also recommend windyard resorts to my friends and family

The stay was average because no amenities were provided, like no play area for kids, swimming pool under maintenance, no television service, food order was delayed for 2+ hours. For a 2 adult stay they provided a single towel and no new towels were provided for the 2nd day of stay. I found a big spider inside the room, it's because the door has a big space on the bottom which allows insects to roam around the room easily. However the room and restroom was well maintained and clean.

I have chosen this property only because there is a pool attached to it but they didn't allow us to use the pool. They have blocked the area also. There was no manager in the site. Few room boys are there. Very bad experience. Spoiled my anniversary trip. Room is okay.

Our stay was so awesome, rooms are so clean and hygiene with the best view in wayanad, staff was so polite and welcoming. Food was awesome, taste was so good plus the quantity is also so good, they also make baby food if you ask them. Also they never said no to any arrangements we wanted to make

Nice view from balcony. Neat and clean room. But food taste below average

We went for 2 days stay. In lake side room was awesome and natural view of mountain and water. Restaurant not available. They would get deliver from outside. Swim pool is good. Not too much lengthy. Fire camp was small and dj is small setup. Hotel is clean.

Location is one of the best - but go for lake view rooms. It has a small swimming pool as well. They do not have full kitchen hence food comes from outside so food is less than average and less choices. However there is another resort at less than 100 mtr distance - it serves very good food.

Short stay although but really a place to relax in peace; and most important is the cleanliness at the property with surroundings with waterfront. would like to visit the place again
