Wooden ECR Sea Resort

We stayed here for only a day but had the best time. The delight starts from when you enter the property. Lush green trees, a sparkling pool and wooden construction (or things that look like wood. It continues as we enter the room. Automatic remote controlled curtains, spacious bathroom, premium bath fittings, and all the amenities provided in the room befitting a five-star Wooden ECR Sea Resort or resort. The beach is a 2 km walk from the property. We went for an early morning walk through the roads to catch the sunrise. The property provides tours to the beach and their car, if anybody is interested. The staff were very well trained, their extremely polite and they look after all your needs like they actually go the extra mile and small and big and directions for any requests that you have. The dinner and lunch menu are limited, but whatever they cook is of high-quality, and it will cater to all types of pallets. They serve simple pan indian food like fried rice, roti, naan, dal chicken or veg curry and it’s very tasty. If there is anything special you want to order you can tell them in advance because their restaurant service is only dedicated to the guests staying in the few rooms there. We use the swimming pool as well and it was decently big. All in all, i highly recommend this resort to anybody planning a relaxing, stay with family at a beautiful aesthetic getaway place. It will be even better if you have your own transport cause then you can drive out to the places nearby. It is not a very densely populated area. It’s a small district with villages in the adjoining areas and restaurants along the ecr route.

Found this very new place for a short stay before the new year. It was a cozy and comfortable little place with a small pool. Room was good and well furnished. You gotta drive a small distance to access the beach though. Breakfast was good, other meals need some improvement. Feels like its a great place for a small group of around 10-15 people as you will end up taking up most of the resort. Choose this place if you have a vehicle cos its a little outside from pondicherry and you gotta drive in everytime. Overall a pretty good place for the price range. Will probably go back next time cos they are priced well and away from the maddening city crowd.

Property is very nice but the biggest drawback is they don't have restaurants and that they're not saying in prior which is very bad, service is not good, since they don't have restaurant its very difficult to get good food, their own people are making breakfast which is very bad.
