Woodies Bleisure Hotel

The Good : 1. Excellent location, very near to bus stand, railway station and easy to travel anywhere within the city. Strongly recommend family city travelers here. 2. Staff are very cordial and helpful. Checkin was done in few minutes. 3. Cleanliness : The rooms were very clean and hygienic. . Can Improve : 1. Food : Complementary breakfast is below standard. They dont replenish on time, no live counter after 9:30 AM even though it is served till 10 AM. We reached at 9:30 and half of the dishes were not there including coffee. 2. Parking : Very less parking space, especially when there are programs running in the Woodies Bleisure Hotel, the basement parking is really troublesome. Our car got stuck because there were car parked across and could not take our car out. Had to wait for sometime to get this cleared. 3. Lift availability to basement parking : Though there is a lift available, for some reason it doesnt have a stop in basement. Customers have to carry their luggage from reception to basement parking.

Stayed here when I traveled to Calicut as a foodie. Compared to other Woodies Bleisure Hotels nearby this still looks clean from the outside and clean inside. Other Woodies Bleisure Hotels nearby surely needs a wash. Room was clean and spacious bathroom was large with running hot water with a large shower head. Room had kettle, bottle of water and tea and coffee condiments. All mod cons you can think of but not safe in room. On a personal note reception called me over on false pretences to check my card room key. (to reactivate the card) I came in after 8 PM after shopping. If roles were reversed I would do the same. For anyone nostalgic there is an Indian Coffee House right opposite this Woodies Bleisure Hotel. Railway station is 10 minutes walk and SM street (sweet street Mittai theruvu) similar distance. If I have come back here which I sure will, I will definitely stay here regardless.

This is my second time staying in Woodies. As expected, the staff were courteous and interacted well during check in. Room service is good and adhere to the asap policy. The best part about Woodies is privacy. You can be sure of spending your own time in the comfort of your room. The bathroom toiletries provided were not of exceptional quality. Some upgrade with regards to the welcome kit would be appreciated. Food quality is good and palatable. Overall, its a very good deal of a Hotel for such a nominal price.

I stayed in this Hotel for 2 days. First of location is close to the Vytila hub which is easy to reach. No words for service. I would give 100 marks for their excellent service. Thanks to all staff. Room was very neat and elegant. There was no delay for the room service. Breakfast was so tasty and food quality was amazing. Gym facility is available in this Hotel. Overall I had a nice stay. One of the best Woodies Bleisure Hotel I stayed. Thanks for whole team.

Though we checked in at around midnight and checked out around 10 am, still despite the short stay, i would say the courtesy extended was five star. More than enough of all amenities, we observed. If i asked for one set of toiletries i was provided two. The linen was top notch, so was the cleanliness. The cherry on the cake was the breakfast. Good variety and excellent fresh fruit juices. On the whole, a lovely experience.

Found the property through search on mmt. The property has spacious acceptably tidy rooms but it can do better in maintenance for a 3-star property. The shelves were dirty, the kettle was broken and most of the furniture looked a bit old. That said the location of the property is simply very efficient. They even arranged a shuttle to the airport early in the morning though expect the price to be a bit higher than ola/uber

Looking at the earlier reviews i was little doubtful of the quality. But once there everything was in order. Right from breakfast, quality of service, room size(wow, cleanliness and most importantly service of staff, everything stands out. Location is also good, 15 mins walk from seaface. I wonder how some reviews mentioned lots of mosquitoes, as all windows were sealed, mustve carried in their bags.

Excellent hospitality need to improve wifi connection staff are too good. I regularly go to calicut for biz purpose and i like to stay at woodies

We stayed for one day and the stay was comfortable. We didn't face difficulty to trace the location of the Woodies Bleisure Hotel.
