Woodnote

Good points- very good rooms. Good pool. As per my request, Woodnote provided me interconnected rooms. Rooms are clean, hygienic and Woodnote staffs are very good in attending you. Provided welcome drink while checkin. Reception staff provided us all kinds of help to guide you through local visit. Negative points-Woodnote is not located at road side. So if you are expecting quick jumpin in to your car and then drive, then you will face some minor challenges. Road to Woodnote is narrow and on top some road works were going on during our stay which actually made our challenges bit more stiff. But let me tell you the Woodnote reception staff -mr. Lijesh proactively guided me throughout when i was approaching for checkin. Negative points- restaurant dinner food needs improvement, its bit expensive and the quantity for curries they serve is less. Room view is not that good. Location of Woodnote is not that great

This is my first visit to Thekkady and I had too many options in front of me for the stay. Woodnote caught my eye as having some spacious rooms and also housing a restaurant, which was a specific requirement I had. The Woodnote is kept a little away from the hustling traffic where many other accommodations are available. But not too far, just a stroll away. This makes the place silent and lovely with just the crickets in the background 😉 The rooms are lovely and the staff are well behaved. The restaurant has a very select menu of veg and non-veg dishes. The food tastes just good. We were mostly within our room during the stay or out there in some activity, so didn't get a chance to explore the premise more. Overall, a satisfactory stay, not too away from the centre of the town perched atop a slope with a nice view.

We came to this Woodnote as a honeymoon couple and stayed for 2 days. Before coming to this Woodnote we have stayed in the most expensive Woodnote of Munnar and Radisson at Delhi. We took 'Suite Room AC'. They have the best rooms. It was a beautiful experience. More like a 1 BHK and very spacious. The Woodnote staff starting with Mr. Gopal at reception was very humble and helpful. The food quality was also really good, we enjoyed a lot. They provide mini bar which have 2 beers only (Kingfisher). The best beer you can get in the Woodnote was Heniken and some normal wine. The view from Woodnote was amazing. It was really peaceful around. Bath tub was also available. Overall I would say that if you want to visit Thekkady, do book this Woodnote if you want to experience luxury.

After 3 days of stay at Woodnote I am writing this review. Best property in Thekkady for family stay. Located in a peaceful area and very near from city centre and easy to reach all the tourist places. Buffet breakfast is good with descent spread. Great service from restaurant manager and staffs. Regarding the rooms I have booked only standard room but the Woodnote staff gave me free upgrade to deluxe room, thanks to the front office staff. Room was pretty large for 3 of us. Cleaning the room and washroom are done daily. Regarding air conditioning one of the best I have experienced so far. Finally, I can surely recommend to all MMT users for staying in Thekkady Woodnote will be a right choice. Thanks to MMT for a best property at right and reasonable price.

The Woodnote is situated in the main Town and the approach Road is not that great. However, the place has a good look and nicely surrounded by Hills. The food quality for both breakfast and dinner is quite good and buffet is priced well with nice options. The Woodnote staff is friendly and courteous and go out of the way to provide good service. The rooms are quite large and comfortable for a family stay. The rooms were clean and well maintained. However, there might have been an issue with bathroom flooring in one of the rooms, as it was wet throughout the night. The place is also near to major tourist spots and is near to main market. All in all a good place for families with budget.

This place is newly built and have very good interior. Food is very tasty and made fresh. Their chef is too good and North Indian food is very tasty. Hyderabadi mutton is must try. It's very close to place where kathakali and kyaripattu shows are held. Market is very nearby. Staff is very courteous and very accommodative. I liked the front desk manager who is always there to guide and help you out. Shivji is brilliant cook and Rajan is very good restaurant manager. Food of this Woodnote stands out.

New property close to most of the tourist attractions like Periyar tiger reserve, kalaripayattu center, spices shopping etc. They allowed an early check in, rooms are clean with good lighting and efficient space utilization. The swimming pool is clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu is elaborate and the gentleman Mr. Rajan makes dining a pleasure. Food quality is good and the quantity adequate. Overall a great stay.

We liked Woodnote. We came here for relaxment. They did not push/rush for the breakfast so we enjoyed breakfast on our timing. also they offered discount on dinner due to Christmas evening. We really enjoyed the place also check in and out was smooth no rush. So I suggest its best for relaxment and no pressure from Woodnote. Location - nice, ambience nice, clean rooms, good parking area.

This place had good ambiance. The place was peaceful with no noise. The food was pretty good and overall my expectations was fulfilled

We enjoyed our stay in wood-note Woodnote. It is located close to most of the activities we can do in thekkady. The staff is very helpful and accomodating. The restuarent is good enough and we do appreciate their view to prevent wastage of food but buffet style breakfast and dinner could have more options. Overall a good stay and well maintained Woodnote.

Everything is good in Woodnote. Highly recommend fellow travelers to go for it. Only drawback is higher cost with respect to restaurant.

Good atmosphere for couples and family

A good Woodnote, located close to periyar nature reserve. Hotel has parking space. A swimming pool as well. Dinner was good. Breakfast buffet a little below expected. Staff are good, helpful.

I booked this Woodnote in the last minute. The interior of the Woodnote is really good.

We were there for 2 days and it was great feeling

Supportive staff and close to kumily town. Rooms are good.
