Location, amenities, services good, as per my personal request in future warm water need 24x7 and room warm is needed why Darjeeling is very cold.

I had an excellent stay at Sumi Yashree Sanderling, Darjeeling from 23rd to 26th October 2025. The overall experience was truly wonderful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a cozy atmosphere with beautiful views. The food quality was great — every meal was delicious and freshly prepared. The housekeeping and restaurant staff deserve special mention for their courteous and professional service. They were always attentive and ensured a pleasant experience throughout my stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Darjeeling — perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, and great food!

Great staff behaviour and service. We availed both early check in and late check out facilities. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Sheets and towels were clean. They also provided bath kit including brush set, body wash, shampoo etc. electric kettle and tea kits were also provided. Breakfast buffet needs special mention for the variety and taste, also staff behaviour there was too good.

Good property. Well maintained. Staffs are well behaved. Service is good. Only, the hotel is charging 18%GST in their bill. I asked them about why they are charging when iit has already been demolished. They did not give the proper explanation. I had to pay some extra money. I also told them that even MMT has refunded after GST rate reduced. Apart from that it's good.

Book only if you are with some tour operator. You will be very warm welcome. If you have booked on your own, not with some tour operators, you will be treated like second class persons. Will be given dirty rooms even if you book higher category room like premium room . No welcome drink. They dont care to check the room and put essentials like bodywash shampoo drinking water. You have to call them many times for this or just arrange on your own. 4 star hotel is nowhere near. It may be 2 star.

1. The bathing area was not demarcated well enough in the toilet. Water used to spill over into the toilet area. 2. There were zero hanging options in the toilet 3. Hot water was not available 24*7 4. The food tasted very average

I am visiting this hotel sine Jan,2023 Till April,2025 Breakfast was best but on my recent visit on 16/08/15 to 18/08/25 the breakfast quality,taste and quantity of items reduce food are taste less

Location is awesome, food quality is good but availability is an issue. Service is little bit slow. During my check in time room is not ready. Some basic amenities are missing in my room like electric kettle etc. Bedsheet is not clean, strain marks are there. Rooms makeover and maintenance is needed. One of the big issue is Hot Water, they don't have any gresyer, Morning 7am to 10am and Evening 7pm to 10pm hot water timings are fixed, Although I have booked premium suite this basic features are missing. But I will recomend it if you get it in Good price.

Hotel is located next to Gymkhana club near Bhanu Bhawan. The staffs were very helpful and provided us an early morning check in. The food is very good and they provided us with a packed breakfast during our early morning departure. The room service is very prompte

The room was not good...not as the picture shown during Booking. I was booked the premium catagory room but got the deluxe one. Also the TV was not working.
