YMCA International House

Recently I have rented a room at YMCA International House for 3 days. The say was pleasant. The location was very good, close to the city center. The Ernakulam south railway station as well as the Cochin Metro station (Shenoy's)is within 6 minutes drive It is also. Close to MG road(the shopping hub) and marine drive where you can spend your evenings wandering at the promenade or go for jogging in the morning. Parking is available if you have a vehicle. Otherwise, auto rickshaws or taxi aggregators like Ola cabs and Uber available for your commute. Affordable and give value for your money when compared to other budget YMCA International Houses .. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet. The ethnic lunch menu was pocket friendly and delicious (especially since we love Kerala cuisine). Staff was polite and courteous. There is scope for improvement in housekeeping and maintenance department. The YMCA International House provides packaged drinking water and newspaper to the guests. Toiletries include soap and Bath towel. Don't forget to bring along your shampoo and hair dryer, tooth paste etc. Since the YMCA International House doesn't provide them. (Obviously at such low cost!

If you are a solo traveler and want to just crash in Kochi city just for a night, then this is the place. The rent usually is dirt cheap, I booked an air-conditioned room at low cost. Positives 1) Great location Ernakulam junction Railway Station, KSRTC bus Station and Kochi Metro mg road Station are at a walkable distance. 2) Competitive prices 3) Ample parking space inside the building 4) Nice restaurant downstairs but they close at 9:30 Pm negatives room cleanliness linens and blanket are very old and you might have to survive the night with those. Else bring your own.

The only problem one may point out s that one good veg YMCA International House s not so close by. U r maintain g it really good, clean n hygenic. May u continue this tradition in the coming years also. Its location s very good, state bus stand, railway station, metro station n all in a slightly secluded campus to help the inmates to utilise these facilities during their stay here, keeping their privacy well intact. Lots f love n prayers to all connected as well as the management team. All the best!

I checked in by evening hrs n checked out by next day mornng hrs. Comfortable stay. It happened somehow or other that whenever i go to ernakulam i stay in ymca, it has become almost like my second home there. Surroundings neat n heigene, comfotable parking area, spacious veranda, no city's clamour n noice, in the mid f a city a calm n comfortable heaven, that s ernakulam ymca international guest house! lots f love n prayers ft-om my side! nkk

Overall it was a very good place regarding safety and security. The staff members were very courteous and well mannered. The big challenge that they have is on building maintenance. One of the windows wasn't closing well because of dried paint (seemed recent, and the bathroom ventilation glasses were missing. Their restuarant doesn't work on sundays. Their food is very delicious though. The price was affordable.

Ymca international house cochin is all time favorite stay in kochi. It's safe secure clean lean property in the midst of city. All the railway stations and bus terminal and tourist destination are near by the ymca. Staff of the YMCA International House are so caring and supportive to the guest. Wishing to stay again there next kerala visit through mmt.

Room was very good with a clean bathroom. The flooring was nice and modern and the room was spacious. Very centrally located and close to station, bus stand, YMCA International Houses and malls. Restaurant was above average and staff were very courteous. One if my best stays so far and worth the money. I shall definitely recommend to my friends.

A case for repeat stay. Central, spic and span property accessible by walk from near metro. Needs very badly a better equipped k inviting kitchen in the absence of which the entire property is smelling fish because of bad exhaust. Really need yo consider it gradation of kitchen to value add the property further

Excellent location close to railway station, bus stand, metro station and main commercial area. Staff at reception are very helpful and friendly. South Indian breakfast. Restaurant is average but there are lot of good restaurants within walking distance.

Excellent location, courteous staff, clean rooms, overall I enjoyed my stay in the YMCA International House.

Hotel is in Apt location. Have to concentrate on cleanliness and other facilities.

We had a very good experience with good room service and clean rooms. The food was also great. The reception was always there to help us as and when required. There was an issue with availability of rooms which was promptly sorted out.

Excellent location 200 meters from M G Road, clean a/c rooms with good facilities and good ventilation. Fine breakfast with Kerala delicacies at the restaurant attached which was complimentary. Courteous staff, overall good experience.

The stay was really good. I was really satisfied with the service provided. The rooms were very neat and clean. Staffs were also very supportive. A very good option for stay as well as very budget friendly too.

Comfy stay for middle class solo travellers. Peaceful atmosphere. Adjacent to all major shops. Middle of city, but silent.

Though the place has become a bit commercialised, i was in the room only for a few hours, it has not lost the old ymca ambience. The room and bathroom were well maintained with functioning ac. Enjoyed the experience very much.

Both the reception staff and the attenders were very accommodative and we had no necessity to go out of the room. The room service was well accomplished.

It was fine. Improved a lot. Very convenient location
