YMCA Seacom Inn

The room was big and most important, very clean including the washroom. The hygiene of the property was well-maintained. The best was the location as it is situated in the middle of the market. The staff are also well-mannered. The only thing i would like to point out is a loo paratha- the quality of aloo pratha can be improved and chicken pakoda too. But the lunch was very tasty. I hope all other items would be tasty too. Overall it was a happy stay at the ymca. Also, the service was also on point. Easy access to everything.

Being bang on chowringhe road it's location is awesome walking distance from park street, esplanade bus terminus and middle of new market. Indian museum is right next to this old british era building. Since it's old bathroom had some plumbing issues which YMCA Seacom Inn staff quickly fixed. Rooms are enormous however the ac took time to cool. The room service was excellent and quickest i have seen so far. Food options are looking limited but good.

This heritage property is located in the heart of Kolkata. If you appreciate old school buildings, you will love this place. Service is homely and personalized. If you are looking for stiff collar service, stay away. I love this place. Be warned that the advertised elevator is a figment of someone's imagination. They are working on installing it, but right now you'll have to stick to the good old wooden stairs.

Location of the property is very near to kolkata new market, you can get any transport like taxi, auto, bus and metro rail. I didn't tested their food but street food is available. They maintain hygiene and safety properly. The building is old but there room, bathroom is very comfortable. I must give thanks to the service staff. Whenever i plan to kolkata will stay this YMCA Seacom Inn.

The room was good and spacious, the staff courteous and helpful. The location is both an advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage is that it is in the heart of the town and easy to get to from any place. The disadvantage is that it is overcrowded and does not allow for good ventilation, entry into the YMCA Seacom Inn or a decent view. All in all, a pant enough place to stay.

The only good thing about this stay is its location close to the new market area. Otherwise, the rooms are quite old, bathroom fittings dated and obsolete, and there is no lift. You have to climb three flights of stairs to reach the room. It does not have a restaurant but you don't need it since it is very close to the eateries.

Situated in a prime location at just walking distance from esplanade metro station ymca sea-com was nice and tidy for a one night stay. The room was spacious with plenty of furniture. Good amenities and toiletries were provided. The very old ac in the room was difficult to control though. Overall a nice experience.

Hotel is the market itself old building but best location and good for stay now lift is installed so very good. Hotel boy the old one is good and cooperative as always but the new one is not polite seems roughly attitude first day provide me complementary breakfast and charge me rs. 60- other wise it's all good.

Asia's oldest ymca. The YMCA Seacom Inn is a heritage property with spacious rooms. Best part is that within 1 km you have every thing from cloth market to street food and well connected by metro and city bus service.

I am appreciated all staff to this YMCA Seacom Inn for lovely service but sometimes, i have noticed some unusual activity at the service level. You should improve your service quality at little. Otherwise, everything is very good. Thank you.

It's an old British era building since 1857. Room was spacious and clean on 3rd floor. Height of every floor is almost double than today's height. No lift. Wooden staircase. Geyser was ok. No toiletries provided. No mineral water.

Ymca location is very convenient. The services are improved this time with supplies of toiletries pack. But the prices are considerably higher without any improvements in linens, towels etc. The towels are very old. The corridors are also not cleaned.

The property is very close to all prominent locations of kolkata. It has a heritage charm and the staff are friendly. A very good deal given the price.
