Young Bombay Premium Heritage Houseboat

We stayed here for one day. The experience was amazing. Great hospitality and amazing view of the dal lake. Dinner and breakfast provided were delicious. They had arranged an airport pickup for us which was helpful. Bilal bhai took great care of us, they made sure we experience the kashmiri foods. Shikara to n fro was also included in the package using which we could reach the main road without any problem. They make sure that we get immediate ride to other places, you don't have to wait for the ride. They also guided us how we can protect ourselves from potential fraudsters. Everyone in the boat were ultimately friendly. They will ask you multiple times about how you are feeling. They have arranged warm bed which was great. In the evening we sat outside having some grilled fish n enjoyed the beautiful view of the dal lake. Don't think, just go for it.

A very warm & welcoming experience during the entire stay of 2 days. Staff is really courteous & supportive to cater to any specific needs of the customers with special mention for bilal & umar. You can depend on them for arranging local transport including visits to places like gulmarg, sonmarg, pahalgam etc. I strongly recommended to book their package including dinner. You get fresh homemade food served in a cherish-able ambience. Rooms are of decent size and you get lots of common space for spending your free time. Advice: you will get complimentary visits from many people selling various stuff from textile products to jwellery to other local products. Please ensure that you use your strong bargaining skills to cut a good deal. Overall: very good value for money.

We were a bit concerned as we planned to stay in a houseboat during peak winter o december. And everyone was saying you will feel very cold at night. That’s true also. But the houseboat of young bombay group made us comfortable and we didn’t feel cold at all by their arrangements. This houseboat is beautifully carved, rooms are large and comfortable, neat & clean, equipped with all arrangments to make it warm. I never expected such facilities in a houseboat. They have also served excellent vegetation dinner and breakfast. And caretaker mr shamim is the cherry on the cake. So humble and prompt in service. Must be reomonded if you want to enjoy the stay.

A wonderful experience ! we stayed here for 3 days and we loved the stay! people are friendly especially bilal and aship. The food has limited options but is tasty and unlimited. Veg and non-veg both foods are available. The view from the boat is fabulous. The shikara ride is pleasant and the person taking on the ride is very nice. "queen of africa" is the shikara boats name, do travel in that. Best part is that the rooms had heaters. Bed had heaters also, there is a living room with fire side and a dining room as well. You will always have bilal there to help you at any time and as-hip to serve you food. Overall a 10/10 service.

We travel-led as a group of 4 people and stayed for 1night. The houseboat is located at one end of the lake, so it's more peaceful. Great views from the deck. The owner and the people on the boat are very helpful and always trying to ensure you have an enjoyable experience. The rooms are basic but have all necessary items for a comfortable stay. Food is homely and freshly cooked. We stayed on our first night here and it was a great start to the trip. They also arrange for shikara rides on the dal lake. Will definitely be back again.

The staff were very approachable and helpful. The breakfast was good. They arranged for a shikara to pick us up from the ghat and then back again at the end of our stay. The suite was very good with comfortable furniture and the bed was comfortable too. We would definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful experience. Good hospitality. They surprised us by upgrading to king size bed with special suite. Owners, caretakers are friendly and cooperative. Forget to say, one of the best site to photograph around dal lake

A home away from home. The moment I stepped in the houseboat I could sense coziness in its every corner and the care taker had made sure he deals with all our needs. He was there for everything we wanted even though the houseboat had all the facilities at our reach. The rooms, view, staff, facilities, cleanliness, availability, food, each feature out stands our stay here. My family really had a good time staying at a houseboat and Young Bombay made it worth the while.

I booked houseboat initially for 2 nights, later I spent one more night here as they are providing everything here up to the mark. Houseboat location is very good and giving a very beautiful look of dal lake. Food on the houseboat is very delicious. Rooms are decorated and maintained very well. The staff of houseboat is very cooperative and nice in behavior. Overall I enjoyed the stay here and looking will definitely stay here on my next Sri agar visit.

Very pleasant stay, newly decorated houseboat, efficient and friendly staff, superb view Of dal Lake and surroundings, fully carpeted floors, geyser, tub, all facilities and owner Umarbhai, never tired if answering our queries even before reaching.

It was one of my most unpleasant stays ever. I left the Young Bombay Premium Heritage Houseboat in 45 mins. The owner was pretty rude. When at his restaurant we asked for dinner, his response is you should have told me from morning. Apparently this is not how a restaurant in a Young Bombay Premium Heritage Houseboat works. Don't stay there. If you don't use their services like the shikhara etc. Be prepared to have a tough time.

We stayed for a couple of days at young bombay houseboats. Room was clean and well maintained. All the staff was really helpful especially mr bilal. Food was tasty. Overall a pleasant experience.
