Good stay in Room 401. Nice staff. The only thing that bothered me was the Electrical layout of the room. The room had only one ceiling fan and it's far away from the bed which isn't good. I had to sleep in the reverse direction to get a little bit of air from the fan. And, even though I use the shower, there was no bucket in the bathroom, there should be one.

The location, food etc were were good. We checked in only at 8 p.m. as per our train arrival time. Because of the late check in we requested the reception for a delayed check out but it was declined. Considering the fact that everytime we were in Cochin, we chose to stay at this property, we expected our request for a delayed checkout , other than 12 noon checkout would be considered. Because of this we were forced to check out at 9 a.m. Next time when I chose a hotel, I would look at options where in the check out time is flexible!

I booked a stay at Yuvarani Hotel which included complimentary breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, the dinner experience was extremely disappointing, and I would advise future guests not to opt for the complimentary dinner. When we went for dinner, the restaurant captain gave us a strange menu but never explained any terms or conditions about what was included in the complimentary dinner. We ordered what we wanted, and he didn’t say a word at that time. When the food arrived, some items were missing. When I asked, he said our complimentary order had exceeded the limit. I asked him to explain the rules, and he even admitted that one of the missing items should have been included in the complimentary dinner. Finally, for dessert, I ordered 1 pudding and 1 ice cream. He only brought the ice cream. When I questioned him about the pudding, he claimed I had ordered only ice cream and started arguing with me. I also noticed another guest gave him a glass of wine or alcohol, and he took it to a room. I don’t know whether he drank it or not, but this behavior looked very unprofessional. To be fair, the reception staff were excellent — they even allowed us early check-in, and most other staff were polite and hospitable. Unfortunately, the restaurant captain’s attitude and conduct completely ruined the experience for us.

A good choice for a one night stay on the heart of kochi mg road

It's an old business hotel with an elegant history, as i can tell from the room arrangements and the attention to detail in the supplies and their placements. However, the facilities need to be updated considering the current scenario. The maintenance of fixed assets needs more care. The staff was very nice and well-mannered, but we had a bad experience with room service as they tended to forget our orders"o forget our orders.

Yuvarani residency is a nice neat hotel. The room was clean and neat. The mattress and pillows were really good, food was excellent. The staff, really friendly and helpful, only hiccup was the airconditioner. It wasn't cooling enough and the remote was quite useless managed as the fans were enough to keep the room cool. All in all quite a comfortable stay
