Zeenath Taj Gardens

We were pleasantly surprised by the ambience and charm of the place at the onset. It is located right at the entrance to the town but slightly out of view. It has a sprawling premise with a nature trail to boast that takes at least 15 minutes to trek. The outdoors are well appointed with a rose garden, lush lawn, children's play area, camp fire area, swan and chicken farms. What truly takes away the experience is below par rooms. We had booked super deluxe rooms and what greeted us was a dull looking interior with all the furnishings looking old and dusty. The room has none of the creature comforts such as air conditioning, hot water kettle, bottled water, and hairdryer in the bathroom despite being rated as a three-star facility. Even the television is just a 21" unit that malfunctioned repeatedly despite the staff's best efforts to revive it. The staffs were very courteous and accommodative of all our requests. The restaurant even waited till 11 am for us to return from our morning trekking trip for breakfast. The Zeenath Taj Gardens seems to have a lot of potentials to be a great stay for families if only they refurbished their rooms and upgraded their restaurant. If you are looking for a nature resort without demanding much from the rooms then this is the place to go.

I just stayed for a night. It’s a very good place to spend a weekend. Just a few 10s of metres from the main road in yelagiri this resort is nothing short of a beautiful place. Surrounded by trees and greeneries it will not feel hot even in peak summer. Several options from normal cottages to premium cottages are available. Food was good, although you’ll have to be conscious to inform the staff of you need a meal, because they don’t have a fully operational restaurant, they only prepare food based on orders. However options are available for you when it comes tea coffee and snacks they have a gourmet near the cottages and one madras coffee house near the entrance gate to serve your tea, coffee cravings. Ideal for family audience especially those with kids. Many options of indoor and outdoor activities are available. They provide one of the best bonfire i have ever experienced. And at nights you can take a walk the pathways are lit up and the resort being private is perfect for a night walk with your loved ones. Parking spaces are sufficient and we’ll organised. Overall it was a great experience and i am likely to come back again. Thanks to the staff for the excellent hospitality.

Its a very nice place and especially the staff is very courteous and helpful. Being owned and run by mohammedans, non veg is available. Its a considerably large property with lots of trees and ample space to walk within the campus. They charge around 350 per person for meals ( except for bfst which is 200 / - per person). The food isn't lavish but its quite good especially the fresh vegetables we had lady's finger, cabbage, french beans and you could just feel the flavors of fresh greens that you wont find in the cities. The rooms are quite neat and clean and the bathrooms are very new and clean. One must keep in mind that due to the weather most Zeenath Taj Gardenss in yelagiri don't have ac and sometimes the rooms therefore may feel a bit stuffy, however its manageable. All in all good value for money and a nice place if u like trees and want to wake up to chirping of birds, at the gate there is a madras coffee kiosk where you will get good filter coffee and some fast snacks. Feedback to make it even better 1. Put ac's in rooms even if it means you charge another 500 rs extra 2. Provide air freshners like a er sachet in bathrooms

Location:- This place is located right in the entrance of Yelagiri after the 14th hair pin bend, next to the police station. Its not in the main road, you have to ride a few hundred meters down off road. Property:- The property is well maintained, rooms and baths are clean. But can be improved, because we did see some cleanliness issues in rooms, look, etc. But its good for what you pay for. And there is no AC in any of the rooms, but we didn't mind. Food:-You get comfort food here, not the Zeenath Taj Gardens style, but home style. Its a buffet, breakfast is part of the room booking, but lunch and dinner we have to pay. Spread is very limited, but again good for what you pay. The quality and taste is good but will be compromised a bit when the count is increased. Service:- Service is pretty decent, just one call and you will get what you need. No in room dining except for tea/coffee. Staff interaction is good, they make you feel comfortable. You get free Wi-Fi at all places inside the resort and the speed is decent. As Yelagiri itself is a very small hill station, you don't have many activities provided by the resort.

Actually my trip was planned only for a day and I didn't opt for Zeenath as there was very few reviews for them. When my stay got extended I did opted for Zeenath little hesitantly as there was not many options left. Upon my arrival I was overwhelmed by the size of this place it was totally a 11 acre property in Yelagiri which is one of the biggest. The place was completely surrounded by Gardens and kids would really love to roam around this place. The food that's get served upon here is completely like home cooking. Truly enjoyed it. Staff were really humble and courteous. The best part of this resort is the nature trail which they call it. A pathway that is surrounded throughout the greenery of this entire place full of mango trees and other trees and plants. The one thing that they could change is the TV's which are old and connection was pretty bad, which isn't a matter to be considered to the stay if you are a nature lover. Zeenath Taj Gardens will be my only choice in Yelagiri in future as well. Thanks to the entire team Z for offering such a lovely stay.

I stayed there with my family for one day. The service and location could not have been better. The resort is very spacious over a beautifully maintained garden. The cottages were spread all over the big garden. There are seats all over the garden where you can chill out and enjoy the nature. Honestly speaking I liked the resort much more than the viewpoints of Yelagiri we visited. Bow coming to the service, all the stuffs were very courteous and helpful. Specially Mr. Govindaswamy, the head chef. The food provided there is buffet and the food is very delicious and healthy. Even the head chef was coming to each of the families and asking for feedback while eating and I haven’t seen anybody as polite and as dedicated as him. Anybody visiting Yelagiri (families) should stay here. This better than Yelagiri itself.

Pros 1. Huge property with well spread cottages and amenities including baddy court, swings, bonfire place etc. 2. Rooms are tidily maintained 3. Staff takes good care of guests cons 1. Entrance, especially from main road to property main entrance is little underwhelming. 2. Maintenance of premises needs to be stepped up. Probably pandemic impact but broken chairs damaged cushions in garden areas could definitely be looked into. General upkeap of the premise too leaves one wishing for better efforts. Overall good place to stay with basic services and amenities.

We had a smooth check-in, courteous welcome in Zeenath Taj Gardens. The property will be of great enjoyment for nature and green lovers. We could easily spend a day completely in the Zeenath Taj Gardens itself. The buffet in dinner and breakfast were delicious but bit costly. The staff were excellent. Both indoor and outdoor sport facilities was loved by our kid. Totally it was a great experience in Zeenath

Nice geeen pictureaque ambience. Only issue is that for food you need to tell them in advance.

Rooms are ok. Not Worth for the cost but the resort environment and food is very good. Suitable for family.

Awesome place to spend time with family and kids. Plenty of space for kids to run Around and play multiple games. Walk through mango plantation is awesome. Bunch of mango trees laden with ripped mangos. Food is tasty (tough a bit costly). Overall very nice experience.

Enjoyed my stay here. Great ambience, food is good, staff are courteous. Trek is a great experience.

The overall stay was good, but the check in and check out timing is not being followed as per mentioned in makemytrip, we were allowed to check in after 1:00 pm and asked to check out before 11:00 am

ZTG is a must stay for me when I go to Yelagiri. one of the best resort with lot of green cover and birds. This is an ideal place to detox from the city.

This place is very well maintained, in the middle of a nice park, with a lot of facilities for kids. The personal is very nice, always there to help you. And last but not least the food is delicious. The place to go to visit the hills.
Room very clean, big size. And a very clean bathroom.

I have been tr to yelagiri around 5 times. I will usually stay in Kumararaja palace or Landmark. This time I tried ZTG. It's 100 times worth than others. Food was awesome but limited dishes for buffet, but worth for the money they charge for food. Providing some cut fruits or fruit juice would add more value.

The property is spread across 11 acres. You can have a relaxed time here. Only point to improve is that certain rooms need renovation.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was so exiting and rejuvenated from our routine life. The Zeenath Taj Gardens ambiance they keep it is simply natural. I've to mention the food quality is so good and harmless. We loved this stay and we will be back soon. Zeenath Taj will be our favorite place to stay.

We planned for a 1 day trip at Yelagiri. We stayed at Zeenath Taj Gardens. Booked a double bedroom. Room was really good, but the tv didn't work properly, the signal was too weak. Garden was really good. But the food cost was not feasible, It seemed to be too high. I really enjoyed my 2 days at Yelagiri.

Good cozy rooms with various amenities well maintained with loads of fun activities food and all were good
