Zero Degree Homestay | Mountain-view Rooms

It was a magical morning today 13may, at the zero degree homestay, joshimath (almost auli. The sky was spotless after heavy showers last evening and all the peaks on 3 sides, far and near, lit up with the first sunrays one after another. The very helpful and friendly manager pradeep and his assistant maintain the property which includes an apple, apricot orchard apart from pine trees of all ages and flower, succulent gardens. Hope to return in late sep, early oct some year when the orchards are fruit laden and maybe try a trek. It is a 'home stay' of course. Do not expect any Zero Degree Homestay | Mountain-view Rooms type features but the homely care, home style food and the mid-orchard location with clear morning views should be the focus points for choosing this place. Observation - 1. A bit away and high up from joshimath town close to the tv tower. Expect a very steep gradient for self-drive and the place could be a bit hard to find - specially in the dark. 2. While the distance from the road as mentioned in the description, it includes a steep climb down a flight of stone stairs. That may be a point of concern/rethink for any elderly or those with bad legs. 3. Bathroom fittings need descaling and scrubbing. Room cabinets paint peeling off and hanging.

It's definitely the best homestay i have ever experienced. The place, behaviour of the staff, facilities were beyond our expectations and anyone who's planning a trip to auli joshimath must experience this place. Moreover, the staff -pradip, naman and deepak are so knowledgeable that they will give you more inputs regarding your trip. They will make you feel like home and part of your family.

Nice place for stay, is located at very good location and the pathway to the zero degree from road is also an advanture. Full with different type of fruits plant and vegetables being grown in the surrounding of the property.

The place is really beautiful and amazing. The staff is very polite and friendly. The food, you don't need to ask, they cook amazing meals specially pahari chicken. The beautiful view of the terrace is mesmerizing.

One of the best homestays i have ever been to. The location is so prime, you can literally see nanda devi peak, trishul peak, hathi parvati and more. The service was very nice and the food was delicious.

Amazing location, nestled between snow capped mountains and have their own apple orchard. Good food and amazing views. The hosts are very amiable and service is very prompt. Rooms are clean and spacious

Property is having very scenery

The view was amazing, the food was also very good and the rooms were very well maintained. The hosts and their dogs were a major highlight of our short time here. To sum it up, our stay was fantastic.

If you need a secluded place lost in hills, this is the place to be .... just go for it

Beautiful location far from crowd in the lap of nature

It’s an awesome place to stay away from all the rush on road. Hospitality is good and cleanliness is maintained across the stay. Only limitation is if you choose to eat food from here it’s overpriced.

Good stay if you wish to be out of the crowd of joshimath. Auli is 7 kms away which you can drive by your own. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Food is average.

Really great stay, little offbeat, perfect for solo travellers and young couples. Great experience with food and caretaker.

5. The room was clean and spacious. The food was good. Nothing very spectacular but nothing wrong with it. More than a decent place. Zero degree is a nice quaint place with an excellent view.
