The 1BHK room is away from the hostel and the path is not well lit to travel at night. I think the hotel should make their staff stay in that area and not the guests until the nearby area is well constructed.

Please be aware while booking as it has female, male, mixed dorms. If you missed this detail there is no way they are gonna entertain.Although we didn’t stay there location was great and staff were very supportive. Worth a shot...

The Location is a little bit far from Madikeri main town but it was awesome, the hostel is surrounded by wholesome nature and big big trees the best part is you enjoy ur lunch or evening with these beautiful surroundings. The food was very very good, especially the Chai we loved it. Must visit if you are planning for coorg.

the room was good but the insects kept coming inside the room. The vibe was not upto the mark of zostel. The host was good. But the location was a bit in forest area which led to costly transportation

Zostel Coorg is located in a jungle area with beautiful surroundings of lush green trees. The rooms are good and well maintained. The games area section is huge and lot's of games option to play. There is tree house to relax and a nice rocking chair which is great to chill out..The cafeteria offers good tasty food with reasonable prices. The services are average and staff are friendly out there. But only problem is the hostel rooms and the common game area are conjoined hence all the noises disturbs a lot while sleeping in the dorm room at night. There should be timing restrictions for the game and music by the management staff.
