Zostel Coorg (Siddapura)

You have a friend at the reception: Zeeth, (he celebrated his birthday on 1st January) who is going to receive you at the desk with a warm smile after a tiring journey, helping friends called Agasthya and Durga the maintenance friends too and the cooking friend is Subhankar bro. Who cooks omelettes and cheese sandwich along with aloo paratha in the morning, coffee and tea are also available. Which are for sure going to refresh you for the sight seeing. It's quite a bit of work to commute to the nearest town, if you don't have a vehicle, either rented or of your own, cause the property is located in a coffee estate in the middle of "Devarkaadu" forest, so plan on renting a 2 or 4 wheeler before hitting the place, cause you're going to enjoy the ride. And for all the management and your caretaker at the property will be Taslim bro. Who will assist and guide you through all the questions, concerns and curiosities of your brain. So feel free to ask him. You'll have the best of your time here if you are on a trip to loose yourself in the moment and be in it. This is the place, go hit it.

The experience was good. The surrounding of the property was good. The location was far from the highway through a broken off-road. Not easily accessible for first-timers. The in-house restaurant was not that perfect and this time the property was full of group travelers and families so felt that the essence of the hostel was a bit off. Otherwise, the rest was great.

The location is quite off the main Town, which is the best thing. Weekdays are the best if you are looking for peace and safety as female traveller. Weekend are usually packed, you get to meet lot of Solo travellers and interesting people Around. Zostel has always been fun that way. Staff is very cooperative and sweet, thanks to Taslim, the property manager too.

Serene getaway from the hustle of life - Be it a bunch of friends or solo! All praise to the staff bros Taslim, Rajan, especially cook Subankar bro for the tastiest chicken curry at a cold night! Playstation, carrom, board games, chirping birds, outdoor music, pet dogs, heavenly location deserves 5 stars.

The property is located in a beautiful coffee estate. I stayed here for 6 days and had a great time. The manager, Rajan, is very friendly and helpful. As the hostel is located about 28kms from Madikeri, i'd advise you to rent bikes from Madikeri or bring your own mode of conveyance.

The stay was overall good, I have got all the facilities, the staff was helpful and cooperative, the property and the room were very clean and safe. The problem was with the location as it was not easily reachable. I can surely recommend this property.

Had a really great experience. The host was great. Full marks to all the parameters. Have traveled to most of the Zostels and they are a really amazing chain. It will be great if MMT lists all of these properties on its inventory.

From the moment I walked in property, I felt so comfortable, everything to make sure I had a great trip. Great location, easy to reach and the staff was very helpful and provided good local knowledge. Would highly recommend!

It was my Solo trip. The property location was nice and it seated in the remote area. The security and the cleanliness were good at the property. All the facilities were provided, can recommend this property to others.

Secluded location. No shops nearby. So plan and buy snacks before reaching. The menu is limited but good. Awesome place, you just gotta know what you're in for and enjoy!

Zostel was surrounded by beautiful plants and tree, it had an amazing view. Staff is very helpful and the chef cooks delicious Dal rice and stuffed omelet (must try). The only this that can bother you is mosquitoes.
