Zostel Jodhpur (Clock Tower)

Located in the heart of jodhpur, very close to clock tower, sardar market and mehrangarh fort. Mr. Shahadat at the front desk was very helpful and guided us to take an auto rickshaw instead of a cab as this hostel is located in old city. Little small and cramped hostel. Can accommodate about 35-40 guests. They have 6 bedded female dorms, mixed dorms and double rooms. The dorms were very cramped, poorly lit and practically no ventilation. Just 1 window on 1 side of the room. Attached toilet bath with a small window. There was 1 fan in the dorm which didn't rotate and didn't suffice for the room. The lighting was on 1 side of the room not reaching all the beds. Big plus was the rooftop cafe with the fort view back side. Veg and non veg food items, beverages, hard drinks, coffees, teas available but no room service. No elevator either so one has to climb 3 stories of stairs. I was unwell and was sleeping all day in the dorm but still had to force myself upstairs to reach the cafe. Even the common area and socialising area was on 2nd floor. They provide towels on rent of rs. 100 per day. My friends had a good room. Compact but had all basic amenities. Centrally located but i wish they make dorms a little more spacious.

The property location was very easy to find from clock tower! all the major attractions were nearby including the mehrangarh, jhalras, lakes and the local bazaar with alot of souvenirs to take in! zostel doesnt own a cafe but there is rooftop cafe on its building, from where there is amazing evening view of the fort and food is good, with local rajasthan folk music event every evening on the rooftop! the staff here is very kind and helpful! the property is very clean! regular cleaning is done, and greatly themed and decorated wall arts from inside!

The hostel team made sure i had a good stay, however the hostel room had just one fan which was far away from my bed and it didn't swing. It's really a problem when you're sharing room with people of different preferences as well, you can't just turn on the ac if the fan is not working. They should have localised fans for different beds. But the hostel staff did whatever they could so that infrastructure won't be a problem. Thanks to them i had a good time.

Acomaditon is good, loction is very nice, food service is not good as we assume. Need some changes and quality of food, good cook

It was a good stay! very close to all the famous attractions and you can just walk around. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller and they provided me early check-in as well by charging some extra bucks.

Room is clean and view from rooftop is awesome and the food is also very good and location of property is in main market area

Very comforting experience, common hall is good for entertainment and playing indoor games, rooftop restaurant is must try, the view from there if mehrangarh fort is just commendable. In between the heart of jodhpur from where most of the hot locations are easily reachable almost at a walking distances. Not recommended for families.

The stay was awesome, location is heart of the city, nice view of the fort from rooftop, friendly staff.
