Had an amazing stay at Zostel Chalal! The property is beautifully nestled in a peaceful valley with stunning views all around. The vibe here is so chill and positive — perfect for anyone looking to unwind or meet like-minded travelers. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was just unforgettable. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Kasol or Chalal!

My overall experience was amazing. The peaceful vibe, surrounded by mountains makes it a great spot to relax and take a break from the city.

Zostel Katagla was, as always, a super fun stay! The vibe of the place is amazing, surrounded by nature and great people. Special shoutout to Arushi for being such a wonderful host — she made everyone feel at home and even organized a fun day trip to Tosh and Grahan Village. Can’t wait to be back again!

located nearby the Parvati River, very peaceful, 20 minutes walk to Kasol, food was good, options can be increased, common area has table tennis, pool table etc overall good experience

Too many rules and regulations like school and checkout time is 10am before that time only they comes and ask to leave at least 5 times from morning 8:30am itself! In house cafe’s food is also not good! Too remote and nothing to enjoy at the property

As a popular name amongst hostels, I was disappointed with this property of Zostel. The cleanliness at this property was not up to the mark and the overall ambience of this property is not very happening

Cleanliness was missing although staff was supportive. I faced a lot of electricity issue. There is only one fan in the room which does not rotate. I got a bed from window and there a lot of smell from sewage next to window. It was pathetic. Geyser was not working. Receptionist Gupta was not bothered to provide a different room when asked

Food was disgusting, staff was not coperative, check in check out timing are design that u are unable to check out on time and pay one day extra… food prices are high and quality is below average..

one of the best hostels in kasol , location is pretty good as well and the quality of bunk beds is also very good

It was pretty cool to work and enjoy with other travellers, also would recommend for someone looking for workation+ group activities.

Staff behaviour was rude and not welcoming, further cleanness and dom amenities was not good. I have stayed around 3 hostels earlier at different locations which was very good but this experience was not satisfactory

the location is top notch at the end of katagala , everything from food to common to staff is just excellent. its a friendly and lively place . would love to come back again

bedsheets were not clean, mattress was uncomfortable, bed size was small for me, i am 6 feet, they literally come knock your door for checkout before 30 mins

Location is little tracking so lagega le k yaha aana thoda difficult ho jata hain. Food - Food is good, I tried Dal khichadi Amenities - In drom there is less amenities for every small things we need to pay. Service is good. happy with service
