Zostel Old Manali

I stayed for 2 nights. The dorm and bathroom were clean and the staff was courteous. They had hot running water even in the taps. The property location is apt in old manali and it is a 5-10 min walk from the road. The food was good but was priced a little high in my opinion (180rs for poha. The common area is good with multiple charging points so you can sit anywhere. The outside dining section is quite pretty especially at night with those yellow lights. The speaker system is good which anyone can connect to and play their favorite music. Overall a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Stay could have been more pleasant if all the young backpackers hostel chain would have a age limit of upto a certain limit lets say a maximum of 40age of people could stay. Because if old or middle aged people stay in these, they just ruin the whole vibe. Last time when i was staying in gostops, there was a man of nearly 60years lying besides me and snoring the whole night. And because of this i was unable to sleep for the whole night. So i think hostels are for young people so there must a 4restriction of age limit of people to be allowed in there

The location is just off road enough to give you that secluded peace, but accessible enough for you to have to walk like a 100mt to access the road that has all the cafe’s and shopping places.
Starting from the vibe to the cleanliness of the property, and the management and kitchen staff - they’ll make you feel right at ease. Manali being manali, a ton of things to do but the hostel staff will give you the best recommendations!

Arrived very early, but zostel is well equipped with common rooms where you can wait till check in. Staff is helpful and food is good. Set among apple and cherry plantation with great view of the mountains, it's a great place for a staycation or just a leisurely break with hilly rural vibes. The female dorm with attached bathroom was nice.

Overall we enjoyed the stay. Vibes were good, staff was helpful and friendly. Good ambience. Food was bit expensive but the quality was good and had many options were available. They had fun evenings almost everyday. They had dedicated space for people who wanted to work. Only downside was that they didnt provide toiletries for dorms.

Everything is great about the Zostel Old Manali and staff except the location is quite far and not suitable for drivers who are not familiar with mountain roads. Though they provide free pickup service from the city which is good.

It was a comfortable stay on the Manali trip. The location was very peaceful and calm. The room was also so cozy and spacious. The staff was also so very humble and cooperative. All the things were good. The property was suitable for everyone. Must recommend the property to others.

Staff of the property was pretty good in behavior. It is in prime location and facilities were as per my expectations. Hygiene is good. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Food was a bit expensive but it is really delicious. I will love to recommend the property to others.

Caretaker of the property was helpful and polite. Food was really good. Location was time taking to find. Cleanliness and facilities were nice. The property can be recommended.

Had a great first experience staying in a zostel staff and rooms are well sanitized and are regularly kept clean with all needed measures. Had a memorable time.

The location of the property was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The cleanliness all over the property was also great. The food quality was also great. The staffs were also helpful and co-operative.

Hotel is in old manali, view from the room is awesome, in winter you can easily wake-up with the view of snow clad mountains, food is good at premises cafe, staff is friendly and the best thing the place has good vibes, and you will get to interact with many people.

The place feels like home due to it’s welcoming vibe and the property manager is extremely welcoming.
