Zostel Ooty

Had a really lovely stay at Zostel Ooty. The best part about staying there were the dogs that would visit. The food was all right. Only, it’s quite limited. There are only North Indian options. Travelling in South India, I would expect the local cuisine to be included more than that of any other region. Dosa and lemon rice would have been perfect “safe” additions. Also, please do remove the trunks from underneath the beds. Nobody uses them and they take up baggage space, thereby making the dorms seem crowded. The dinner tables are quite greasy even though I’ve seen the staff clean them regularly. So a hard scrub once in a while would do wonders. The bonfire and music should begin as soon as it gets dark. Zostel would definitely be my first choice when I’m booking my next hostel. The ambience is great. The staff is prompt, helpful, and friendly. It’s clean. The view is great.

The food was delicious, l, adding to the overall positive experience. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, which made for a perfect getaway. I can confidently say this was one of the best holidays I've ever had. I highly recommend Zostel Ooty to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat!

The ambience everything was awesome. The only thing subject criticism were rules like no bonfire after 9:15 or the area for bonfire was less , particularly rules like nothing to be done after 10 o clock no music . Which is understandable as I felt fully compliant to the rules on the other hand I could feel some people were not happy with the rules . Apart from that rest everything was truly exceptional particularly the location.

The hospitality at Zostel Ooty is good, the restroom facilities along with the dorms are well maintained and cleaned timely. In house cafeteria offers wholesome meals at an okay price and is open from 7:30A.M which is convenient. The quality of bunk beds could be better, beds would squeak on the slightest of movements and the overall sturdiness was questionable.

Loved the hostel stay over here. The ambiance of the hostel is very nice and cosy. It has great views, comfortable beds, and great food! The staff over here is very friendly, nice and accommodating. The cleanliness is well maintained. It's a great place to meet new people and have a great time as a solo traveller.

this is my first solo experience in zostel and I get meet many new and the service was so good and iam really very very very satisfied ❤️

The stay is at a nice location, not far from city, rooms are kept clean. Food is also good and staff plus service is polite and helpful

All the things were arranged properly, and the overall stay experience was excellent, got an opportunity to make new friends.

A perfect spot in the hills. Rooms were cozy while the washroom area was enormous. Toiletries were available with clean towels. Geyser was available. The crowd staying at Zostel Ooty were young and happening where you get a chance to interact with different sort of persons.

The check-in process was smooth, and property appeared to be well-maintained. The only flaw was the safe storage option in the shared room that we stayed in - there was a very small box, but without keys, and therefore leaving valuables was a challenge.

Neat and clean stay. The food was awesome.

Property is at beautiful location you can view the city from here. Food, amenities and services are just perfect. Good Experience
