Food Pricing: Food is slightly overpriced; revising prices would make it more appealing. 5. Limited Dining Options: No nearby restaurants or dhabas make the in-house café the only choice, which can feel restrictive. 6. Heating System Issues: The centralized heating system often malfunctions and needs improvement. During my stay at Zostel Pahalgam, I had an incredible experience that truly enhanced my trip to Kashmir. The location was perfect—nestled in a quiet corner of Pahalgam, offering serene views of the mountains and lush greenery, yet still close enough to the main attractions. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready with local tips and recommendations to make my visit even better. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the common areas were great for socializing with other travelers. I particularly enjoyed the cozy café, where I had some of the best local dishes. The overall vibe of the place was laid-back and relaxed, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The entire experience felt homely, and I left feeling refreshed and connected to both the place and the people. Zostel Pahalgam truly exceeded my expectations.

We were 4, and we enjoyed every single moment out there. Also the Hosts - Basharat and Monika were awesome. First and best ever zostel experience we had. The vivid view from the balcony and wonderful woods in the backyard stole the show. Cafeteria and Bonfire were the best places to open up yourselves. The stay was really very awesome We were four and we had our best time over there The hosts Basharat and Monika were too good, we let ourselves out and had immense fun. The rooms, dorms, sitting area, balconies, backyard, cafeteria every thing was on point and stole our hearts. Really… Worth the money !

Nice property situated on the outskirts of Pahalgam. Double room was nice and clean and the heating system was spot on. The view from balcony is splendid. Vicky bhai was very helpful. However, since it is situated at least 20 mins away from the main Pahalgam so if you are seeking hustle-bustle, this place is not for you. Make sure to have snacks handy because you will get nothing late in the night. Menu was fully veg, which was a bit of a bummer. Overall, a 4.5 out of 5

Excellent stay. Owners were super welcoming especially monika and (basharat), soothing location and alluring vibe. Sprawling clean rooms and comman area too, the property was very warm as it's centrally heated albiet the temperature outside goes upto -10 -18. The architect is done a fabulous job with the design, it's all just great! great staff as they were very helping in every aspect. Summing up my stay it's 11 on 10 anyday!

Its a very well managed place. Hosts are warm and welcoming. Great place for people traveling solo or with limited know how of local places. Got some excellent suggestions to visit nearby places and explore the culture. :)

The host, Basharat is extremely helpful and welcoming he engaged everyone with fun activities. The property is a little outside pahalgham and is nice and accommodative. With proper room heating and delicious food.

Hot water was coming. Heater is available in the room. Property is located around 12 km apart from pahalgam, but location is in village dehwatoo which is quite, friendly and safe to roam around.

Great place for backpackers and solo travelers with extremely nice hosts who are helpful and accommodating
