I love place because clarity communication so I am deaf. Manager and staff are warm. I hope another homestay same your way of communication with the deaf.

The location was great, the food could use some improvement; however hot chocolate was the best. But, the host and all other services were wonderful. Everything had a nice personal touch.

The location was serene and beautiful. It reminded me of the village I grew up in. The property was well maintained and the staffs were polite and helpful. I also loved the pahadi chicken and rajma from their in-house cafe. Overall, it was lovely stay. Thanks for hosting us :)

The stay was amazing worth the view . The staff was so generous & the breakfast was amazing moreover the whole experience was great.

Was good, found peace and solace

I will give this stay a 3 star rating as it was clean but didn’t give a hostel vibe. The rooms were decent but the interiors and surroundings for which a hostel is preferred over hotel were very nominal. The host could have engaged a lot more in creating a fun atmosphere. Also, the route to the hostel is almost broken and last 10kms are difficult to drive. Property should mention these before.

stayed at Zostel Shangarh during the monsoon (16th August), and while the hostel itself is located in a serene and beautiful spot surrounded by nature, the timing of my visit made the experience quite challenging. Due to continuous heavy rains, there was no power or network for almost three days. The kitchen was also not fully functional since markets were closed and roads were badly affected by the weather. These issues weren’t really the hostel’s fault but definitely impacted the overall stay. I’d recommend visiting Zostel Shangarh in the winter or summer months when the weather is more favorable. The property’s charm and the peaceful surroundings would be much better enjoyed without the disruptions caused by monsoon conditions.

Perfect place to stay in shangarh.

Zoostel Shangarh is an amazing property with breathtaking views and fantastic weather—truly a peaceful retreat in nature! The highlight of our stay was the delicious food prepared by Mr. Ajay, the cook. Every meal was homely and full of flavour. The host, Mr. Rinku Kataria, was extremely friendly and made sure we felt at home throughout our stay. His warm hospitality added a personal touch to the experience. One thing to keep in mind: the last 7.5 km stretch of road leading to the property is quite steep and challenging, so drive carefully. But once you reach, it’s absolutely worth it! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene escape in the mountains!

Great ambience, food and services

Very nice to stay for your vacation, close to meadows , waterfall and great cafes. Nicely maintained. Food is great as well, you must try pizza, pohe and paranthas.

The property is set at an unreal place. The place is so beautiful that it might take your breath away. The staff is helpful the food is tasty, take your cup of tea/coffee and just soak in the beauty of this place in the dining area outside . 10/10 would recommend the place.

I had a pleasant stay at the property. The location was convenient and well-connected, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The food was delicious with a good variety of options. Amenities were well-maintained, and the staff provided prompt and courteous service throughout my stay. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Two of us were senior citizens. No Rooms allotted were not as what we paid for. Room service poor. No food and resting service for the driver. We had paid for two deluxe rooms but one was small and the other was big. Food was tasty.

The stay was very good with a nice view and awesome food. One extra star for the chef of zostel. The only thing is they take at least 30-40 mins to prepare your food so it is good to give order in one go.

I am so happy with my stay that I had to extend a say more, the location is serene and top of that the staff!!! Too humble, especially Ritu she is gem of a person and too kind when it comes to hospitality .. overall love the stay it was extremely relaxing and comfortable . Also, the hygiene was taken care of time to time. Great. Highly recommended
