Zostel Udaipur

My stay at zostel udaipur was great. Everything was going perfectly fine, from cleanliness to service except two shocks 1. The manager moved my stuff at 10. 00 am even though i requested him to wait for just 15 mins as i was outdoors and nearby. Though everything was safe. 2. This was a bigger shock as i kept my stuff in the luggage room after checking out at 10 am and had put a suitcase lock password, when i came back to pick up my luggage at 5 pm, i could not open my lock. And guess what someone opened my bag and changed the lock password. This is extremely unethical and unsafe. Wonder what the camera is for. I took 2-3 hours to unlock it using youtube video(there is a hack, possible stealer knew about it) i am on my way back home, everything looks ok for now as there was nothing too expensive in the bag. I will do a detailed screening later. To zostel - this is highly unethical and intolerable from any traveller. Request you to please investigate it

Stayed here for 2 nights and couldn’t have asked for anything better 1. Room- booked myself a deluxe lake view room, the sunsets from my room were magical. Beautifully done up room, and the safest of all for solo travelers, especially girls. 2. Staff - they truly knew how to make me fee at home. Ask for Roshni- she is the volunteer there and a lovely soul. Took me around places and ensure i had a great time there! She made this trip worthwhile! She is definitely the life of Zostel Udaipur. Kishan bhaiya at the reception ensured i had everything here, from hair dryer to iron, anything i needed at anytime! Lastly the view from Zostel cafe is to die for! I am definitely coming back here! Thank you Zostel for this amazing experience!!!

Though the location was a bit tricky to find, we were pleasantly surprised by the comfy waiting lounge and games provided there. There was even an attached bathroom. The rooms were clean and was just like in the pictures with a good view of lake pichola. The washroom also had a heater facility. Overall it was a good stay.
Zostel has a unique waiting lounge for early check in and checkouts with an attached bathroom. Social distancing is maintained, bolts of rooms and doors are perfect, special provision of luggage rooms, sanitisation facilities etc are provided.

I visited Udaipur and unfortunately lost my wallet while reaching the place, but man, the place, the aura Around there helped me forget all of it and gives a way to stand tall all the time. Staff was totally supportive and the personal who handling the counter, both are great. Helped in every possible way, direct to cover best possible places in least rush. Made new friends. Even after writing this much, I still think it's like nothing what I actually had at Zostel. Thanks a lot team for everything. Will be visiting you again whenever wherever possible.

As a solo traveler who enjoys the snow laden mountains more than the hustle bustle of city life, i was sceptical about my experience in udaipur. But thanks to roshni and her meticulously planned activities, this became one of my most memorable trip. Also, icing on the cake was the snoring cutie called bad-shah (adorable pug) who will keep per lovers busy. I had taken the deluxe lake view room. The views were amazing and the room was spacious and clean. For all the female solo travelers, zostel is the place to be when you plan your next trip in udaipur.

Given the fact that udaipur has narrow lanes and the city is under construction these days, this property is accessible by auto from anywhere in the city; not to forget the view of the lake and it's surrounding mountains, always adds value to the property and peace & tranquility to the travelers mind. The food was really good, accompanied with the kind and polite service of the staff, was a welcoming factor. Breakfast was amazing, and pair it up with the view and a hot cup of tea; one couldn't ask for a better start to the day.

The social distancing norms are maintained well. Stuffs all wear mask and maintain good hygiene. Overall quite satisfactory safety and hygiene standards. The view from the room is breathtaking. The best part of the hostel is its rooftop restaurant. We used to spend 2-3 hours there every evening. The menu is limited but the food is awesome. Stuff are very friendly. Overall the hostel exceeded my expectations in a very good way. I should definitely go back there again and recommend it to everyone.

I have stayed at zostel properties all over indie & this one is also amazing. The staff vijay & the others make sure your stay is hassle free. I booked a room & it was beautifully decorated with a lovely view of the lake pichola. They have a terrace cafe where the food is really nice. The only thing is the way to go to the property. It’s a bit steep climb but worth it. You get welcome by cute puppies around and they have the cutest dog called badshah! in all it was a fabulous stay!

I arrived late night stayed at Zostel Udaipur which is near a Lake and it was pretty good stay. I left in the morning.

I liked the stay very much there. The staff is very friendly esp. Roshini. They make plans also to for roaming around and it’s a good place to stay if you are travel-ling alone

The place is on a height and you need to climb up, which was quite a task. But, the vibe is very calm and chill, absolute freedom and amazing.

It seemed to be a bit congested especially the reception area. The rooms were fine. But bedsheet and bed were not best. The food was just ok

Good stay, great team, loved the cafe.

Liked location of the hostel and the view point from the roof top was too good.

Our train came in earlier and earlier check in wasn't possible but a common area was given to us to sleep and change which was great, just wished the property was a little more accessible by cabs

Second time at Zostel Udaipur. Beautiful sunset. Good food. Meet new people. Learn lot of things about City, locals.
