The weight of free checked baggage allowed on Air Canada flights would depend on various parameters, such as – class of travel, weight and dimension of baggage.
- While travelling on Air Canada Rouge, Air Canada, or Air Canada Express, which includes flights that are run by Air Georgian, Sky Regional and Jazz, free checked baggage allowance depends on destination, date of ticket purchase, price paid and frequent flyer status.
- For economy class, the maximum weight allowance per bag would be 23 kg or around 50 lbs. The maximum linear dimension per bag is 158 cm. For business class, 3 bags weighing up to 32 kg in total are allowed.
- Bags that weigh between 23 kg and 32 kg are accepted as being overweight, whereas, bags that have linear distances of up to 292 cm are accepted as oversized.
- You can carry one personal article, one standard article and a coat or a small purse or an infant care product, like a collapsible stroller, as carry-on baggage.

For economy class travel to and from Canada and India, the maximum fee for a second bag could be in the range of USD 100 to USD 118.
