Etihad Airways Checked Baggage Allowance
The amount of free checked baggage allowance on all Etihad Airways flights depends on the weight and dimensions of baggage, along with the class of cabins.
- For those travelling to or from the United States and Canada in economy class, business class and first class, two bags that weigh up to 23 kg each, 32 kg each, and 32 kg each respectively, are allowed.
- While travelling from India to any Gulf country on an economy deal, saver, or classic ticket, your check-in baggage can weigh up to 30 kg.
- For travelers from India to GCC on economy flex tickets, 35 kg check-in baggage is allowed.
- For those travelling to GCC in business or first class, 40 kg and 50 kg of baggage is allowed, respectively.
- Maximum check-in baggage dimensions to and from Canada and the United States – 70 cm x 50 cm x 38 cm.
- Maximum check-in baggage dimensions to and from all other countries – 90 cm x 72 cm x 45 cm.
Etihad Airways Extra Baggage Charges
You are required to pay in US dollars per kilo, when you add extra weight through the ‘Manage Bookings’ section of the airline’s website. While travelling from India to GCC, 5 kg of additional baggage would cost USD 72, after 20% online pre-purchase discount. It would be expensive if you buy at the airport.
