The Tribhuvan International Airport ( KTM ) is the only international airport in Nepal. Situated 5.56 kilometres east of Kathmandu city, the Tribhuvan International Airport caters to Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan, all major tourist hubs of the country. The Tribhuvan International Airport has two terminals one domestic and one international. The international terminal is where most of the major shops, cafes, restaurants and duty free shops are located. Currently, 22 international airlines connect to Nepal from various destinations across Asia and the Middle East. Some of them include Air China, Etihad Airways, Jet Airways, Indian Airlines, Qatar Airways and Thai Airways International. Domestic Airlines include Buddha Air, Cosmic Air, Gorkha Airlines and Nepal Airlines.
