First class, Business class and economy class services are offered in international flights but business class and economy class services are offered in European domestic flights. This airline offer services to more than 78 countries in which Asia, Europe, America and Africa are main continents. Within South Africa its services are limited. Johannesburg, Cape Town, East London, Durban and Port Elizabeth are connected to each other by this airline.

The original Lufthansa Airlines was founded in January 1926 with the name Deutsche Luft Hansa Aktiengesellschaft. However, at the end of World War II, the airline was completely grounded. Lufthansa Airlines resumed its services in 1955 within Germany using Convair 350. The current Lufthansa was recreated in January 1953 with the name Deutsche Lufthansa Aktiengesellschaft and commenced operations in April 1955. Ever since, Lufthansa has consistently multiplied its fleet and range of services.
