Nepal Airlines allows all passengers except infants one piece of hand baggage suitable for placing in the closed rack or under the seat in front without extra charge. For security and safety reasons, the dimensions of the hand baggage must be not larger than 20"x15"x10" weighing not more than 15 lbs. The following additional items are also permitted: one small size handbag/purse, one coat or cap or blanket, one umbrella or walking stick, one pair of crutches and one small camera or binocular. Passport and Visa Information
For Indian citizens travelling with Nepal Airlines, a valid Passport or original voter ID (issued by Government of India) is required. For Nepalese citizens, a valid passport or original voter ID (issued by Government of Nepal) and original citizenship card (issued by Government of Nepal) are required. For passengers below 18 years of age, a valid photo ID with proof of date of birth is required. Children traveling alone are provided constant care while aboard Nepal Airlines. A request for the same has to be made at the time of reservation. Unaccompanied minors will be taken care of by the airlines’ special handling unit. The guardian can hand over the unaccompanied minor to the ground staff along with the necessary documents. The ground staff will do the needful and once the child boards the plane, he/she will be taken care of by the cabin crew.

The fleet size of Nepal Airlines is 7, which consists of two Boeing 757-200 and five de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter aircrafts. With plans to expand its fleet, the airline has also placed an order for 2 Xian MA60 aircrafts.
