Web check-in and verification
It is convenient for passengers to check-in online or through mobiles to avoid the long queues at airport counters.
Passengers simply have to visit https://www.thaiairways.com/en/manage/i_checkin.page and enter details such as last name, booking reference number and the form of identification, which can be the booking reference, electronic ticket or the Frequent Flyer Program Number, and click on the ‘submit’ button.
With web check-in, passengers can view the booking details, change the seats, and opt for special meals.
Baggage Allowance
Passengers travelling within Asia, Australia and New Zealand in the Royal First Class of Thai Airways can carry up to 50 kg of baggage. For passengers travelling in the Royal Silk Class and Premium Economy Class can carry up to 40 kg of baggage and for passengers travelling in the Economy Class can carry up to 30 kg. Infants who do not have seats are allowed to carry 10 kg of baggage.
The carryon baggage items for passengers should not exceed the dimensions in 56 cm in length, 45 cm in width, and 25 cm in thickness and should not exceed 15 kg. Passengers are allowed to bring handbags, laptops, wallets, etc., not exceeding 37.5 cm in length, 25 cm in width, and 12.5 cm in depth and also not exceeding more than 1.5 kg. Passport and Visa Information
Passengers travelling to Thailand must have passports that are valid for more than six months. Indian citizens can apply for Visa on Arrival for tourism purposes for a period of 15 days. They must provide the proof of living expenses with the amount 10000 Baht per person or 20000 Baht per family. Apart from providing passports, they also have to provide the travel tickets that include the return tickets within 15 days.
The online application for Visa on Arrival can be made at http://www.immigration.go.th and passengers must provide a passport photo. Passengers arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand can obtain Visa on Arrival.
