Passport and Visa Information
A valid passport and visa for the country of destination is required for the duration of the trip and the expiry date of these documents must be in accordance with the countries the passenger is travelling to. Certain countries require a 6-month passport validity period in order for passengers to travel. Also, a transit visa may be required as per the immigration laws of that transit country of destination (for example if a passenger is switching airline carriers at a transit destination or if the period of transit exceeds a certain time period or where the main checked baggage has not been interlined to the final destination and needs to be re-checked in).
In-flight service
SriLankan Airlines allows passengers to stay productive while they fly. Passengers can answer their emails, surf the internet or chat with friends online - just as they would do on ground. The in-flight Wi-Fi facility is available for purchase on new A330-300 and A320/321 Neo fleets.
The airlines’ delicious in-flight meals prepared by their special team of chefs take passengers on a culinary journey. To reduce the effects of dehydration during long flights, they also serve refreshments every 45 minutes. Passengers with special dietary requirements can pre-order their meals at the time of booking.
SriLankan Airlines’ selection of movie, TV and radio channels is sure to keep passengers glued to their seats throughout the flight. On certain short sectors where headsets are not offered due to limited flight time, passengers can expect a selection of silent movie classics or a wide selection of video games to keep them entertained. Passengers can also chart their flight's progress with 'Air Show', a moving map that indicates exactly where they are at any given time.
