Scoot Airlines Checked Baggage Allowance
- The quantity of free checked baggage allowance on all Scoot Airlines flights depends on the weight and dimensions of baggage, along with the class of travel.
- With the FlyBag or FlyBagEat fare bundle, you are allowed 20 kg of free check-in baggage, in one bag. If you choose ScootBiz fare bundle, you can carry up to 30 kg of baggage weight, in two cases. However, it is to be noted that for both of these cases, the Scoot Airlines checked baggage size (sum of length, weight, and height) should be lesser than 158 cm.
- If you have chosen the Fly fare, checked baggage is not allowed and you can carry only hand luggage.
- If you intend to travel with more luggage than the specified limits, the airline recommends pre-planned online purchase of up to 40 kg of additional baggage allowance.
Scoot Airlines Extra Baggage Charges
- You have to pay in Singaporean dollars per kg, if your check in baggage weighs more than your baggage allowance.
- If you are travelling to India from Singapore, extra baggage could cost up to SGD 45 for 20 kg, when you purchase in advance. If you buy it during boarding, it could cost up to SGD 70 for 20 kg extra baggage.
