It is a major airline in India which operates both international and domestic flights. It is assumed to be the largest air carrier in China in terms of number of passengers. It also has a subsidiary, which is Shanghai Airlines. In year 2011 it became the member of Sky Team Alliance. In year 2012 the total numbers of international and domestic passengers travelled with this airline were 73.08 million and the load factor was 80%.
