Sitting in the southern part of Bangladesh, Chittagong is not only the biggest seaport in the country, but is also one of the most picturesque cities. With several natural and man-made attractions to see, destination attracts huge number of tourists from Asia and other parts of the world. Since this is an area that receives abundant rainfall, there are several waterfalls and lush green areas. Some of the most naturally blessed areas of the city are Khagrachori Waterfall, Kaptai Lake and Bandarban. Chittagong vacations should also include a trip to the War Cemetery, which is a memorial for all those who died in the battlefields of World War II.
