Shatabdi Express is a series of Indias flagship trains. It is one of the most prestigious trains operated by the Indian Railways. They are fast passenger trains, mainly connecting the important metro cities. Introduced in 1988 and given the name to commemorate Indias first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, Shatabdi means century in Hindi. The first Shatabdi train was the fastest Indian train until 2006.

ÂAns: Indian Railways has added a new travel class called Anubhuti (EA) to its Shatabdi trains. This is a high-end Chair Car class with more accommodations and legroom, somewhat akin to business class on airplanes. Similar to airplanes, each seat has an infotainment screen. Additionally, Anubhuti coaches offer luxurious upholstery, more ergonomic seating, reading lighting, and an attendant call button. This class is currently offered on a few routes, including Delhi-Chandigarh and Chennai-Mysore routes.
