Yes it's right you need to show the balance equal to the cost of package or more. What you can do here is you can ask your friends or family to deposit money in your account and once the balance is there ask the bank to stamp your bank statement which is easily accessible through net banking. Once the visa has come for you; you can return the money.

Hi, I have a question actually I don't know whether you are the right person to ask or not. I want to book a holiday package through MMT of Europe. Do I need to show average balance of Rs 3lacs in my saving account ,even if I am booking through MMT , for visa purpose???
