Yes, you read that right. The Mumbai-Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Express now features an air-conditioned Vistadome coach.

Imagine admiring the lush Western Ghats and the beautiful Konkan region through an almost all-glass coach, as your train whistles through valleys and tunnels. A first for Indian Railways, the large windows and the glass roof act as a vantage point for your journey snapshots!

How much does it cost?

A seat in the Vistadome coach from Dadar (Mumbai) starts from Rs. 630 and goes up to Rs. 2235 till Madgaon (Goa) depending on your destination (Panvel, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Thivim, Madgaon).

When does it start?

Started in mid-September 2017, the Vistadome attached to the train will run thrice a week until October 31, 2017, and six days a week from November 2017.

Does the coach have any new features?

Oh, you won’t believe it! The coach is equipped with automatic sliding doors, LCD TVs, an oven, a small refrigerator, a juicer grinder, and the most amazing of all, the 40 rotating chairs!
