The Hong Kong Book Fair, scheduled to be organised from July 17 to 23 at the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre, promises to be a great place to read and buy books, spend the day and also relax and be entertained.

Books So Fair

Typical of a book fair, the Hong Kong Book Fair will bring readers and visitors closer to a whole variety of books in various genres ranging from fiction and non-fiction to religion, books for children and teens, as well as a variety of e-books, audio and visual learning aids and educational software, besides stationary and other printed products. This six-day event, however, isn’t just restricted to showcasing books. There are also other events organised alongside such as seminars and discussions on a variety of pertinent issues of local and international relevance. A variety of creative writing workshops are also organised for visitors to participate in.

Booked and Hooked

Interestingly, the book fair isn’t just a fascinating place for grown-ups, but also an ideal place to spend a very educative and fruitful day for youngsters. The fair boasts of an exclusive section for kids, entry to which is made quite easy through a separate and exclusive passage which will lead kids directly to book heaven. As for adults, while there are seminars, discussions and creative writing workshops, there are also several cultural events. There are several other facilities provided to make things easy for visitors which include a special speed delivery service through which buyers do not have to bother to haul around the books they buy. They can simply ask them to be delivered! There is also a café where readers can enjoy their books while sipping coffee, besides a food court where one can enjoy mouthwatering delights.
