Cave Dwelling in Austria

The village of Werfen in Austria is home to the world’s largest ice caves known as Eisriesenwelt. Extending to a height of 48 kilometres, explore the labyrinth nooks and crevices that were created by the Salzach river that flowed through the Tennengebirge mountains. The tour lasts for 75 minutes and you are given a lamp to carry with you although magnesium lighting reflects off the ice, so you can see the beauty.
