Stunning hill with several carvings
Tourists can also visit the well-known Hattibet Devarajan while in Latur. The elephant hill of Hattibet Devarajan can be found 16 kilometres from Udgir City and is reached after a lengthy, nearly two-hour trip from Latur city. Villagers in the area took matters into their own hands and altered a hill that had previously been barren by planting trees and other vegetation all over it.

Kharosa Caves
Associated with Hindu mythology
The town of Kharosa is home to a group of caverns known as the Kharosa caves. The Yaksha statue that greets tourists to the Caves of Kharosa is a big draw. Some of the caves have sculptures of scenes from mythological stories. Every one of these caverns is home to a Shivling and a plethora of other god statues. A sitting Jain Tirthankara statue, a gorgeous Buddha painting, and a realistic Lord Dutta statue are just a few of the well-known sculptures on display.

One such fort is Ausa Fort, located in the Latur area, whose own history is hazy at best. Battles between Deccan Sultanates following the Bahamani Era brought Ausa Fort to prominence. Thirteen distinct names had been given to the fort before the name Ausa was settled on.

Udgir Fort
Ancient fort with stunning structure
During the conflict between the Marathas commanded by Sadashivrao and the Nizams, the treaty of Udgir was signed, making the fort of Udgir renowned. It was built in the 12th century. Samadhi of Rishi Udaygiri Maharaj, whose name the fort bears, is buried below the surface of the same structure. There are many halls in the fort's layout, which is in the shape of a square.

The temple's garden and the towering statue of Lord Hanuman that watches over it have earned it widespread renown. The full construction is made up of two levels: a lower foundation on which rests the temple housing the modest Hanuman idol and an upper base on which rests the platform for the 25-foot-tall Hanuman statue.

Siddheshwar Ratneshwar Temple
Sacred shrine for Hindus
The 12th-century Siddheshwar Ratneshwar Temple in Solapur honours Lord Siddharameshwar. As a devoted follower of Siddharameshwar, King Tamradwaj commissioned its construction. Lord Siddharameshwara, one of the most significant prophets and spiritual leaders of the Shaivism sect, is revered here, and his temple stands as a testament to the development of the religion. Poetry in the Kannada language was another of his talents. Lord Siddharameshwar was also well-known for his participation in the Veerashaiva revolt led by Basavanna.
