The Baba Bhawaneshwar Nath Temple is among the oldest places of worship in the region. This temple is both religious and historical. This temple is reported to have been built during the Dwapar era. The same stone was used to carve this temple. The British Gazette, issued in 1956, said that this temple is nestled between Nepal's Pashupatinath and the stunning Harihar area of India. This temple was termed exceedingly old in a Calcutta High Court judgement. According to the people, they also included this temple in the East India Company's proclamation receipt.

In the Kusheshwar Asthan block in the Biraul subdivision of the Darbhanga area, 14 water-logged villages have banded together to form the 7019.75-acre Kusheshwar Asthan Bird Sanctuary. Due to the entire region's importance in ecology, geomorphology, wildlife, flowers, and natural resources, these villages (when united) have been designated as the Kushwwarasthan Bird Sanctuary. The Wild Life Protection Act of 1972 gave this region the designation of "Bird Sanctuary'' (amended up to 1991). Several local bird species may be viewed in Kusheshwar Asthan Bird Sanctuary. This bird sanctuary also has several uncommon endangered species of birds.

The Chandradhari Museum was founded in 1957 by the state government and is located in Darbhanga, Bihar. Originally housed on the eastern shore of Mansarovar Lake, the Museum was moved to its current location in the double-storey structure in 1974. The Chandrandar Museum opened its doors on December 7, 1957. It was once known as the Mithila Museum. Later, it was given the name Babu Chandraheri Singh after the landowner of Ranti Dodhi in the primary donor district of Madhubani. It was built using antiques and the History that they donated.

In Darbhanga, Bihar, Mother Kali's Dham Shyama Kali temple was constructed on a pyre. This building is referred to as Shyama Mai's temple. The construction of Shyama Mai's temple on Maharaja Rameshwar Singh's funeral pyre at the cremation Ghat is a rare sight to witness. Among the seeker emperors of the Darbhanga royal dynasty was Maharaja Rameshwar Singh. This temple is called Rameshwari Shyama Mai because of the king's name. Maharaj Kameshwar Singh of Darbhanga established the shrine in 1933.

Ahilya Stha is a Hindu temple in the Indian city of Darbhanga's Ahiyari South neighbourhood. Ahalya is the main deity at the temple. The location of Maharishi Gautama's former ashram is now known as Ahalya Sthan. During the rule of Maharaja Chhatra Singh and Maharaja Rudra Singh, the temple was constructed in its current structural shape. The temple is built using exquisite art and traditional Indian architectural patterns and motifs. The primary object of worship within the temple is a flat stone said to hold the footprints of Goddess Sita.
