    Ballarpur Fort can be seen near Ballarpur town, which is around 16 kilometres from Chandrapur. On the opposite bank of the Wardha River, this fort was constructed by Khandakya Ballal Shah. The fortress's ramparts and bastions are arranged in a square pattern.

    Naga monarchs from the 9th century constructed the Manikgad Fort. Located around 35 kilometres southwest of Chandrapur, Manikgarh has recently gained fame due to the opening of a cement industry in the area. Manigarh, a hill fort constructed by Naga monarchs in the 9th century, is located 507 metres above sea level. With ramparts and bastions, it was well protected.

    Between the 15th and 16th centuries, the Gond monarchs constructed the Chandrapur Fort. This fort was constructed primarily as a defence mechanism to shield the monarch and his soldiers from hostile assaults. Babaji Ballal Shah began building this fort, but he died in 1597, therefore it was finished by Dhundya Ram Sah.
