Kedarnath in Summers Season (April to June) :

April to June is the best time to visit Kedarnath as the weather is pleasant and the temperatures usually range between 10 to 15 degree Celsius. These are the months when the Char Dham Yatra begins and Kedarnath is thronged with pilgrims from across the country. This is also an ideal time for adventure activities like trekking and sightseeing.

Kedarnath in Monsoon Season (July to September) :

These are the months when Kedarnath experiences torrential rains and thunderstorms. The days are usually cloudy, and the region receives medium to heavy rainfall. The temperature ranges between 4 to 11 degree Celsius.

Kedarnath in Winters Season (October to March) :

Considered as the coldest months of the year, October to March are not the ideal months to visit Kedarnath. With temperatures ranging between 0 to -18 degrees, the days are pleasant but the nights are spine-chilling cold. The main temple remains closed during these months due to heavy snowfall as that often leads to road blockage. Budget travellers can still plan a trip and book stays at discounted rates.
