It is advised not to interfere in any kind of rituals and to observe the ceremonies peacefully without any disruptions because of the high sensitivity in people during this time.
Not just alcohol but you should also avoid non-vegetarian food when you are in Kumbh because it is necessary to not hurt anyone's religious sentiments.
To maintain hygiene and a proper code of conduct it is not advisable to wash clothes in Ganga. It is the most sacred river in India and polluting it is prohibited.
You should keep the dignity of the Kumbh in mind while choosing your attire. You should wear modest clothing that won't disrespect the culture and the festival.
Before going to the Kumbh, keep in mind to check the list of all the do's and don'ts and an elaborate list of all the prohibited items so that you won't face any problems.
Kumbh or any other religious gathering can become a highly sensitive area. So, remember to avoid any unnecessary conflict, loud conversations and unnecessary photography.
Do not ignore the safety boundaries established in the Ganga. Many people often get into safety troubles by going beyond a set boundary in the Ganga while taking a dip.
You need to understand that throwing garbage in such a pious place is morally unacceptable. So carry something to keep the garbage with you while exploring the Kumbh.
