Home to the world’s happiest Quokkas, the Rottnest Island has preserved its spellbounding natural charm! Play along the silver-sand shores and relish the stretch of azure water for as wide as you can see. Spot exotic birds such as Cormorants, Terns and Osprey on the Rottnest’s sand dunes, and explore the wetlands and woodlands with a local guide to encounter mammals, marsupials, bushbirds and amphibians resting in their habitat. Don’t forget to wave hello to the dolphins at Salmon Bay beach and wander around the bushes and plantations to spot the cutest Quokkas. Guess the best part? The animals are super friendly and getting the perfect #QuokkaSelfie won’t be of much trouble to you!

How to Reach: Take a Fast Ferry from Elizabeth Quay in Perth or Fremantle.

Note: The tourism board highly discourages touching or feeding the Quokkas.
