Finally, I Managed to Visit the Splendid Taj Mahal!

On my way to Rajasthan, I finally visited a monument I really wanted to! Also known as, the Crown of Palaces, the Taj Mahal was very overwhelming! The intricate workmanship and meticulous planning were visible on this age-old masterpiece.

The Taj Mahal is easily accessible by road; the distance from New Delhi is 215km. You can also take a train to Agra Cantonment or ahttps://www.makemytrip.com/railways/ flight to Agra.  

If you are going by your own car, then you will have to park the vehicle a kilometre away from the entrance of Taj Mahal. Yes, hiring a guide is a good idea but make sure that you bargain well! You can also go for an audio guide, which is available at a charge, inside the premises.

Apart from the wonderful Taj Mahal, you can see many other attractions in Agra such as Fatehpuri Sikri and Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah.
