Adi Shankaracharya called the Sri Sharada Peetham, which was established by Adi Shankaracharya himself in the 8th century CE. The Sri Sharada Peetham is one of the four main seats of learning established by Adi Shankaracharya, and it is considered one of the most important centres of Advaita Vedanta philosophy in India. The temple complex includes several shrines dedicated to various deities, including Sharada Devi, the goddess of learning and wisdom, and Adi Shankaracharya.
