Fringed with tropical forests and the picturesque Western Ghats, the reserve is located 114 kilometres away from Coimbatore. Designated as a tiger reserve in 2007, it has a population of around 30 tigers.

What To Expect?
Go trekking, enjoy the jungle elephant ride offered twice a day, click pictures of varieties of flora and fauna, go bird watching and opt for a guided forest ride in a traveller van and interact with elephants.

- Timings are 7 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. every day of the week.
- Entry fee for adults - INR 30 (Indian) & INR 300 (foreigner). For children (5-12 years) it is INR 20 (Indian) & INR 200 (foreigner).
- Charges for still camera (per day) are INR 50 (Indian) and INR 500 (foreigner) and handycam/ video camera are INR 30 (Indian) and INR 300 (foreigner).
- Avoid wearing colourful and flashy clothes on the safari so as to blend in better with the habitat.
