Hoi An

Known for its Heritage, Hoi An is a hugely popular tourist spot. Thronged by tourists mainly during February, March, April and May, Hoi An is a tourists delight. Hoi An Lantern Festival, Tet Nguyen Dan (Vietnamese Lunar New Year), and Hoi An International Food Festival are some of the most popular festivals that happen during the month of (Monthly (Full Moon), January or February, and March consecutively.

While June, July and August are considered moderate season, (months) September, October, November, December and January are considered off-seasons to visit the place. In peak season, i.e., in February, March, April and May you can expect pleasant weather, warm temperatures, and low humidity weather, in the moderate season you will experience hotter temperatures, occasional rain, and higher humidity. In off-season the weather here is cooler weather, increased rainfall, and occasional flooding.

In terms of activities, tourists enjoy getting indulged in exploring the ancient town, beautiful beaches, and vibrant outdoor markets in the peak season, whereas in moderate season the greenery around, sightseeing, discounts on accommodation and activities are the frequently enjoyed activities. However, if you are travelling in off-season you can enjoy fewer tourists, discounts and lower prices, a more tranquil atmosphere.
