The black bucks of India can be seen in Velavadar National Park, which is also known by its alternative name. It's in the Velavadar district of the Bhal area of Saurashtra and it was established there in 1976. Area-wise, it tops out at about 36 square kilometres, and it's mostly just grassland and shrub.

Numerous black bucks (1500 total; typically seen in groups of 25-30), Indian wolves, jackals,cats, blue bull antelopes, foxes, hares, and many more species can be seen. Migratory birds such as sand grouse and larks frequent the park in the winter.

• Find a local festival. Go beyond what other tourists might do while visiting a place. Look for the unique things you would want to do. Use social media or the local tourism website to find out what’s going on locally. You may have to move out of the center of the city to do some of the less popular but more unique things, so just keep that in mind!
